Hello everyone,
I spent some time on the weekend giving our little porch/entry a cheery spring look. The garden bench that was here is going back to the garden so the vintage wicker chair got a fresh coat of paint and moved into the corner of the porch.
tulip bouquets.
Parrot Tulips
If any of you remember the grey cabinet and mirror that were here before-don't worry I still have them but they have been re purposed and I will show you later.
If you would like to see another look for this little porch you can check it out here.
Sit and have a cup of tea and enjoy the sunshine.
And a peek through a couple of beautiful garden magazines that I am happy to say some photos I took of our garden are featured in- Flea Market gardens and Real Gardens!!! Thank you, Diane Speros and Phyllis Goldstein!
Do you recognise our garden? I remember when we were building that terrace/gazebo one cold spring several years ago. We never dreamt it would be featured in magazines one day!
This was one of my favorite summer tablescapes so I am happy to see it published in Flea Market Style gardens. If you would like to see more of it click here and also the magazine is available in stores now. Looking forward to those garden tea parties again!
It actually feels like spring here and the snow is melting a little each day so pretty soon it will be spring through the house but also in the garden. I am so looking forward to it!!!
I am joining Cozy Little House for Tweek it Tuesday and Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time Tuesday.
Thank you for visiting me,
Carolyn
Dear Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteOh how exciting you are yet again featured in magazines - you both soooo deserve the recognition for your loveliness and VERY hard work.
I am so excited for spring to come seeing your newest changes and your gorgeous tulips.
I am still in St. Pat's mode, then on to Easter/spring. Shocking how fast time is flying, isn't it?
I love your parents hall tree so much, what a great way to do seasonal looks, yet tug at your heart strings too while you think of them.
Love it.
You have such a gift Carolyn!
ReplyDeleteI so enjoyed your beautiful and charming porch.
Can't get any better!
Congrats on the magazine features too.
Cindy
What a beautiful hall tree, Carolyn! So functional, too. Love your front entry/porch. It looks like a nice space for entering your home and you've decorated it beautifully for Spring.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so lovely. What a beautiful way to welcome Spring.

The parrot tulips are so pretty. I am so ready for spring..I wish the weather knew that. I always love seeing your gardens
ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteI picked up Flea Market Gardens but not Real Gardens. I didn't realize you were in that one, too. I'll have to go to the bookstore now and get me a copy of that one, too! Love those parrots and I have the same bunny (bought it new at HomeSense this season), aqua floral teacup and very similar birdhouse! Midge spotted them all! Lol I wish I could say that I have a similar garden!!! GORGEOUS GORGEOUS job, m'dear. Congrats!
Hugs,
