Hello everyone,
Although our temperatures are a long way from spring-I have brought a little bit of spring into our sun room.
When we went to the grocery store to stock up on some necessities before we get hit with another storm coming on Saturday I spied these beauties sitting in a cart just marked down to $1 for each pot.
So while hubby scooted around the store picking up necessities I dawdled around the flower shop!
Such pretty spring colors!
White with a bit of blush pink hyacinths.
Pink baby's breath and hyacinths.
Yep! That is frost on the sunroom window. The sun wasn't out as much today so the room gets chilly unless I leave the door open. So, I took these babies back inside until the morning when the sun is supposed to be shining. In February you can notice some heat in the sun again.
Oh! so pretty and a little breath of spring on a cold winter day. The good part is once they are done blooming I will let then dry out in the basement and plant them in the garden in the fall for more spring blooms next year and the next..... I think I will get my monies worth from these babies-don't you!
I am joining My Romantic Home for Show and Tell Friday
and
The Rose Garden in Malevik for Show-Off Saturday.
Thank you for your visit and hope you have a wonderful weekend.

There may be frost outside, but it is spring in your sun room! Hugs, Penny
What a beautiful setting for the coming of the snow of the century!
This was beautiful to look at. I am so longing for Spring flowers. We are getting ready for another snow storm tomorrow. I truly am getting very bored with winter. Thanks for the little lift tonight. Hugs, Deb
the smell must be heavenly! Just gorgeous!
Wow, Carolyn, I think you got your money's worth in that one!
So pretty, I can smell them from here. We are getting that blast of winter you expect on Saturday. Take care and hope the storm is not too bad. Jen
I need a smell app. for my laptop. I bet the smell was wonderful in there...
Thanks so much for the influx of Spring. I saw the dogwoods on my block starting to bloom when I was walking this morning.
Do stay warm and safe.
Hugs, Gee
You'd never know you have a snow storm coming by the looks of your sunroom, Carolyn! How beautiful all the flowers look together. I couldn't decide which color tulips to get when I was at the grocery store the other day so I wound up not getting any. I may just have to splurge and get two bunches!
The sunroom looks very pretty Carolyn and I know it's bitterly cold there right now and a nor'easter is on the way too. Stay cozy on the weekend. Blessings, Pamela (I'm in Alberta far away from the storm:) )
I love the spring in the sunroom! I would love to have a place to go like that right now. You did a lovely job with it :)
I can just say... Wow!!! So very beautiful in your sunroom! The colours... Just lovely! You made my day today!
Best wishes!
Stunning.
Hi Carolyn,
What a great deal on the blooms, I guess that is a good thing about the storm!! The ice on the windows is amazing. Stay warm!

Your spring Sun Room is wonderful!
Your sun room is full of spring, I love the combination with the pink baby's breath, it looks all so romantic. A lovely place to be dreaming of spring and summer when it's cold and stormy outside.
Your blogs are always so inspiring to me! Thanks for sharing the great photos of the flowers.
Oh my goodness Carolyn, I absolutely sighed when I saw the beauty here this morning.
Have a wonderful day.

Oh wow, Carolyn. What a stroke of luck to find hyacinths and daffodils in the super at this time of year.
We are expecting a big storm tonight.

Dear Carolyn,
Such a joyful post. The thought of spring always makes me happy. It's still cold in Holland, but I hope we have seen the last snow by now.
I enjoyed your trip to Avonlea village. Hope I will be able to see it myself one day.
Have a lovely weekend!

It may be cold and wintery outside, but inside your sun room it is a Spring garden. Lovely!
Hi Carolyn,
Your post is delightful while the weather is frightful. Wonder what we're in for this weekend. The forecast makes me nervous. We, too, are in for a storm on Saturday. Just hope we don't lose electricity. Batten down the hatches and keep cozy!
Hugs,
