Dinner for Two




                                                                 Hello everyone,
                                        I hope you week is going well. We missed the predicted storm yesterday which was fine by me. The kiddos had a day off from school though anyway on the fear of freezing rain.
                         I have been going out to the 'boathouse' a bit more lately as the temperatures are warming a little and the sun is giving a little more heat. So, I set up for a little dinner for two in the small conservatory.

          As always, I have used a mix of old and new china but with a brown and white theme.

                      The teapot and vase are 'Brown Botanical' by Skye McGhie.
                          The cupid plates came from Homesense a few years ago.

 Whenever spring arrives I am sure I will enjoy hours in here as it is my newest 'playhouse'!

    Your table is just so beautiful, it is quiet and lovely..the transferware is so pretty and I adore the white charger plates, where did you find those, would love some of those...

    Hi Phyllis,
    Thank you for your visit! The chargers came from a trip to Maine and I think I got them at the Christmas Tree Shop but if not there then Target, a few years ago.

    What a lovely table and love the sweet little birdie napkin ring:-) It would be a pleasure to linger over a meal and gaze out over the snowy garden, I love sitting by windows all snuggly in the winter...

    Those Peonies are stunning. Sadly we cannot grow Peonies in Auckland, it is too humid, however they fly them up from the South Island in November and I go mad buying and taking all my shots for my paintings during the short time I can buy them. I had great success last November with lots of wonderful images I took to start painting again this year.

    I also love that red transfer ware, so pretty.
