Hello everyone!
How about a spot of tea in the kitchen today. It is warm and cosy by the stove .
A nice little afternoon tea break with some small sandwiches and sweets.
It is a mild but cloudy day so I have lit some candles to add some cheer.
My simple centerpiece.
Candles glowing and some Christmas music playing make a relaxing tea time.
I am sure some of you remember my favorite santa in his red toile coat and the small Christmas tree sitting in the baywindow adds some to the cosiness of the season.
I am joining Rose Chintz Cottage for tea time Tuesday A Delightsome Life for a Return to Loveliness and Bernideen's Tea Time Blog.
Thank you for visiting me today.
Carolyn

ReplyDeleteHow about a spot of tea...in your kitchen?? I would do anything to transport myself there! Today in class, when the junior high school students are getting squirrely...I will close my eyes and think of the pretty transferware and Santa with his matching cloak. It will at least take me away for a few minutes!! Gorgeous!

Once again you have prepared a lovely teascape...the dainty food looks great!
ReplyDeleteVery cozy and pretty, dear Carolyn. I love it! It makes me want to invite friends over for a real tea. Mine would never be as prettying prepared as yours, but it would be fun, nevertheless.

So gorgeous, as usual. I love the Santa.
ReplyDeleteYour tea vignette does look cozy. I thought your cup was chipped at first and realized it has a scalloped edge. The small bites of sweet and savoury for tea look delicious.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful spot - I love to set the scene and have a leisurely pot of tea - it feels so grown up!! Love your centre pieces, J9 x
ReplyDeleteCarolyn, you know I love your toile Father Christmas! We have the same red teapot, luncheon set, diary, and table cloth! Imagine that; are we kindred spirits or what! I was hoping to have you and Heather over for tea before Christmas but it's not going to work out. I will see what I can do about after the holidays. Thank you for sharing and joining me for tea.
