Hello everyone!
The weather has turned colder here and we even had a few snow flurries last night. I know it isn't actually winter yet but it seems like fall is over and I am geared for winter now.
Winter Solstice by Rosemunde Pilcher is a lovely book to read especially this time of the year. I think I have read itat least three times now.
A cup of tea and a good book by the fire is one of my favorite ways to relax in winter.
Hope you are having a good week.

HI Carolyn! Oh, what pretty snaps. I love that beautiful lamp in the background. I also love it that you have all of the seasons where you live. It was almost 80' here today. No fair.

Hi Carolyn, I have recently started reading some Pilcher books. I know, where have I been? I will look for this one too. Beautiful and serene images for me to close out my computer out with. Goodnight, Olive
ReplyDeleteCarolyn, what a beautiful post. Your winter vignette is wonderful! Everything looks so wintry and serene.
ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn, Your ice blue ornament is so pretty. Great color. I like the rose and greenery on the book as well. If you have more time for reading this time of year, I want to recommend "A Year On Ladybug Farm" by Donna Ball and "On the Island" by Tracey Garvis Graves. I really enjoyed both of these books recently. As a matter of fact the Ladybug Farm book has several sequels too, and all are excellent reads.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and yours,
Beth
Lovely, Carolyn. Just so peaceful to look at all your beautiful decor. Susan

I loved the book Winter Soltice and Rosemond Pilcher is one of my favorite authors. Read many of her books. I also enjoyed your post. We are having chilly weather in the evening (high 30's) but much warmer during the day, typical for us this time of year in N FL. I enjoy our milder winters but would love to experience snow just once in a while.

I am packing for a move to our new home. It's so strange...Last night as I was packing a few more books I came across my copy of Winter Solstice. Guess I'll read it again once we are unpacked in the new house. Thanks for the reminder to fill our minds with good thoughts.
