Hello everyone!
I had a wonderful afternoon out on the town today. First,I stopped at Lori's wonderful shop that I mentioned in my last post - she is all decorated for Christmas now so I loved seeing all her decor. Outside her door the show begins with some beautiful natural greens all ready to go home with someone!
I love this beautiful wreath made by Lori and her friend.
Another beautiful wreath!
Lori herself and yes that is the Jeanne D' Arc Living magazine that we are so happy to finally be able to buy here. One came home with me and a few others sold in the short time I was there.
This beautiful wreath went home with Lori's friend from New Brunswick. I love it!
The angel and Noel (below) was made locally for Lori's shop by Willowbend Studio's.
Lots of unique stockings for Christmas.
My photo doesn't do this table justice but you can see it is very pretty.
Love the quilted stockings too.
Love this table arrangement and the pillows behind it-they are also made locally.
Lots of sparkle too!
I love how Lori has even put the tiny washroom to good use-very artistic don't you think?
Love the natural look for Christmas too.
Well, after enjoying a lovely visit at Lori's shop I was went on to my friend Janice's for tea with friends. The photo above is in her lovely kitchen where we were treated to delicious scones, cookies and squares-Janice really treats her guests well!!
I am joining French Country Cottage for Feathered Nest Friday today.
Hope you enjoyed coming along with me,
Carolyn

Carolyn, looks like a good day!. Beautiful shop. We have a shop/nursery in our little town that is quite beautiful. A lot of the French influence that a lot of folks have in their homes. Their Christmas open house is coming up. You gave me the idea for sharing..Happy Thursday..Judy

Hi Carolyn! I love shops like Lori's too. I think those white pillows she sells are so pretty. Her Christmas things are sure getting me in the mood to decorate.
ReplyDeleteYour green transferware in your previous post is gorgeous. I think the green is my favorite (but I am partial to the red as well).
I hope that you go snow-free until you get all your garden chores done. We are supposed to get about 6 inches tomorrow. I guess I had better be ready : )
sending hugs...
Liebe Carolyn,

Hi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely shop! So much inspiration by looking at the photos. I particularly like the collage you show at the beginning. The greenery along with the red and white is so Christmas-y to me. Can´t wait to bring out the decorations this year.
Have a nice weekend!

It sure is a lovely shop you've got there. Lots of nice things for your Christmas home. I love the wreath but it would be impossible to have here. It would be destroyed in the bad weather we normally have here during X-mas.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a nice weekend.
Love Elzie

ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking us along on your shopping trip! Loved it all, wish I were there to see for myself. :-) I know I could find a few treasures to stash in my suitcase. The photos of the antique tree ornaments in the silver bowls are gorgeous and would make a sweet Christmas card, m'dear. lol
Well, I made my first post in 6 months today. Can you believe that? Where did the time fly? I'm glad to be back. Talk soon.
Hugs,

Oh, I love Lori's shop. Do you know I could actually smell potpourri as I looked at your pics? (Oh wait, that was my Apple Crisp hand lotion...)
ReplyDeleteAnd Janis knows what it's all about. What a lovely idea, to plan a tea for after a shopping excursion. Great day!
