Happy weekend!
It is hard to believe it is already September and today we have a Fall tinge to the air.
I do love the warm glow of September light.
The warm sunny glow made me pause and grab my camera.
Some of you may remember this room had a makeover a few years ago. We call it our library and it is a good place to enjoy a book especially if the wood fireplace is going to add ambiance. But it also serves as a diningroom as we can easily add a long table in here when we need to.
A bouquet of dried hydrangeas from the garden.
Well ,Happy September to you!
I am joining The Polo House for Your Favorite Room party today and also The Rose Garden in Malevik in Malevik for Show -Off Saturday.
See you soon,
Carolyn
p.s. Thanks for visiting!

ReplyDeleteThose built in book shelves turned out so well that it looks like it was designed from the start of the house being built. I so love my built ins.. Makes that corner.
And you are right, late summer afternoons have this glow that just warms any room it touches. It would be my favorite room to be in come 4 pm with a cup of tea and some small biscuits.

Your library certainly would be an idyllic space in which to curl up with a good book. I'm enjoying the light right now. It's making a bouquet of rudbeckia in a white jug just glow!

Hi Carolyn! Oh, what a beautiful space. I remember when you were redoing it. Love it! The chair is so pretty and I see the book "Jane Eyre". I read that book when I was in the 8th grade and it has forever been one of my favorites.
