A Beautiful Day at the Beach



                                                     Hello everyone,
                    It was a beautiful beach day again yesterday so my husband and I headed to the beach later in the afternoon. After enjoying reading for awhile, listening to the waves coming to shore we went to Richards in Covehead for Fish and Chips as someone told me they had the best on the Island-try them you won't be disappointed!
     
  Andrew took a few creative shots with my camera while we were at the beach. Covehead Lighthouse is in the background.

  We watched a beautiful sunset.

 After a lovely day at the beach -a stop for icecream and I was "good to go"!

    The Covehead Lighthouse is wonderful! I have visited many lighthouses, and am always fascinated with seeing photos of ones I have not seen. Thanks for sharing!

    I remember summers of long lazy days spent at Jimmeys beach and Mermaid Beach(it was 26 miles long and with very few people about) when I was a kid and teenage years but that area has been developed now things have changed I don't go to the beach very often now. Your photos remind me of this time.

    Beautiful shots, Carolyn! We were at the beach too and we're going again very shortly. We have never eaten at Richard's even tho he is Hubby's cousin. I'm not much for fish, I'm afraid. Enjoy your day.

    Beautiful photo's from the beach Carolyn and what an amazing sunset! Your title reminds me of a book by Rosamund Pilcher which I enjoyed reading.
