Plum Crazy



 Hello everyone,
       Don't you just love clematis? The beautiful plum colored one above is called Ville de Lyon and it is one of my favorites.This one is growing up the old birdhouse from the Christmas Tree Shop several years ago.
 Rose moor is another favorite and it is growing by the fence with a New Dawn rose-such a pretty combo.
 Love the plum/red of this rose-sorry I have forgotten the name. Does anyone know what it is?

We had another shower last night -so happy to hear the rain coming down. It is impossible to water all of our garden and even just watering the planters and windowboxes and newly planted roses.trees etc. is somewhat time consuming. The sun is shining now  and it is supposed to be a beautiful sunny weekend again. We are having a sleepover with our grandchildren and their parents tonight-should be fun!

    So beautiful. The birdhouse is incredible. Your rose bush looks a lot like Knockout roses. We have a few of those here. Very prolific bloomers.

    Hi Caroline: The clematis around the bird house is just lovely. How do you keep it from overtaking the bird house? I never know the right time to prune and how much..Happy Friday..Judy

    What a cute idea to have the clematis grow up the bird house- very original.Love your pictures- gorgeous colours!
    Yes I love clematis too- I was planning to grow a red and purple one together in a tree in the frontgarden , then whilst weeding this Spring I cut off the red one - aaargh.. I am hoping it will come back next year!!

    I am "plum crazy" too...and I loved these plum colored clematis!!!! And the double petunias. You sure have the "touch" and such an eye for beauty!

    I just love that birdhouse! The clematis is beautiful. Oh how that would look so awesome on my property. Will have to consider planting a clematis next year.
