Hello everyone,
I have a pleasant spot today for you to sit in the garden under the mockorange where you can enjoy the fragrance. There are also lots of fragrant roses nearby.
I love this beautiful varigated mockorange. It is outside the window from my computer so for a couple of weeks it I can enjoy it inside as well. I took these photos a couple of weeks ago so the mock orange is past now but blooming right under the window where I am sitting in a fragrant hydrangea White Dome-buy one if you have the chance-you won't be dissappointed. I will have to pick a bouquet to share with you soon.
I picked a few pretty bouquets for your enjoyment as well.
The Queen of Denmark ,Erfurt and The Fairy rose make up part of this bouquet.
This is a mixed bouquet of Tahiti Moon, Golden Celebration and I believe The Pilgrim.
Relax for awhile and take in the beauty and the fragrance of the mockorange and the roses on this sunny summer day. We are supposed to get rain this afternoon-so needed for the garden and the farmers crops.
Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn

As always, thank you for the exquisite photos. What a gift you've been given by the Giver of all good gifts. I wish there were an app that would allow us to draw in the sweet aroma of your blooms. I want to sit at that little table and write until the cows (or sheep) come home. :-)
Regards,
Sharon
Your roses are so beautiful and you have made some lovely bouquets. We are getting some showers here today but not enough I'm afraid. I'm worried about our well getting low.

Spectacular! So elegant and delightful.
I have so many duties that need to be done in my garden. It is so hot and humid I hate to call in extra help because I have to worry about them getting overheated.
Your garden is a respite for me. So lovely.
I just had to get a couple of mock orange after being home on PEI last summer - but now I have to wait for that glorious aroma...
Beautiful roses, Carolyn! I never can get enough of them. Nice to have gotten some rain this afternoon, eh? The garden party at Fanningbank was lovely too.
Blessings,
Sandi

You must miss all this beauty when the summer is over! They are gorgeous. I know who made them all...we have more flowers planted this year than any other...and are loving it all. I wish I could keep everything blooming all winter, and still have a little snow...lol

Hello Carolyn,
I love your blog. You have the most beautiful home and gardens. My I please ask what do you use on your flowers to keep the bugs away? Just when I think my flowers are doing well I get invaded by aphids or white fly. It's very frustrating.
Thank you, Margie in CA
Your garden spot is so welcoming. All those beautiful blooms and colors ...how do you ever get any work done? I'd be outside all the time ...laptop and all :)
What a lovely seating area, Carolyn. Your roses and mock orange are beautiful, and that green green grass looks wonderful (ours is turning brown due to heat/drought). You have lovely gardens!
Hi Marge,
I have not used anything at all this year to keep the bugs away. We grow organically and I don't worry about a few holes in leaves etc.In the past I have used a home made garlic and soap spray.
Thank you for your kind words.
Carolyn
