Hello,
I am popping in to share a few soft and sweet images of pretty tea things.
Thrift shop finds-of course!
I took these photos a couple of weeks ago when the Beauty of Moscow lilac was at it's peek.
The Primrose lilac above.
We have a few tours this weekend and the forecast is for rain but we really need it so hopefully we all have unbrellas and wellies.
Happy Weekend!
Carolyn

Absolutely the best of Truly Feminine! Even that tiny sweet little frosted cookie is perfect!
Lovely ~ and what a terrific find. Reminds me of a breakfast set my mother had. Carolyn, how is it that you know the names of all your plants. Did you plant the, research, or just genious? (: would love to know the history of the house and gardens.

Your blog is like a much needed vacation. Every time I visit I feel transported.
The china is pretty with tiny roses, even a matching spoon. I wish the lilac season lasted longer, even our peonies are on their way out now.
Have fun with your tours.

Loved your photos, Carolyn. Hope it rains there soon. We got a good downpour this afternoon and oh! What a wonderful difference it made in the air. Now it's cool and lovely sleeping weather.
Carolyn, are welllies the same as boots? Susan
Well, we're getting our rain! Hope it didn't ruin your tours.
Your soft and pretty post is true to its title. Love the primrose lilacs! I once had that same teapot and gave it away. Woe is me! Whenever I see yours, I miss mine. Hope your week is a lovely one.
Blessings,
Sandi
I'm so happy to have you as a follower, Carolyn. It's high praise, considering how beautiful your blog is! Thank you. Your 6/23 post is lovely. I can't imagine that you found such treasures at a thrift store--'twas your lucky day! And the cloth, and the lilacs, and the photography--all beautiful! Following you back (actually, I thought I already was, so I'm glad I checked!) ~Zuni
What a lovely pictures; I wish you have a wonderful summer!

Carolyn what awesome thrift store finds. The tea set is so pretty. Enjoy!
Your porcelain always looks lovely. And so did the garden tour in your former post.
Hope you did get a good weekend.

Carolyn,
Thank you for maintaining such a delightful site. When I need a respite from my writing, I brew a cup of Earl Grey, click your link on my blog site page (http://writersharonkirkclifton.blogspot.com/), and peruse your gardens vicariously through the lens of your camera. Beauty abounds inside and out at Aiken House and Gardens!
Write on!
