Hello everyone,
I hope you are having a good week. We are getting the rain we really needed for the garden and the crops so I am very relieved.
I did warn you that I had lots of lilac pictures so here are just a few more for you.
A corner in our bedroom.
Our bedroom mantel.
Thank you for all the nice comments lately and welcome to those of you who are new followers to my blog. We have been busy lately getting the garden ready for tours and of course our own enjoyment as well so I have not been good at leaving comments back, I hope you will forgive me!
Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn
Such beautiful lilacs- their colour is amazingly deep and awesome!
ReplyDeleteYour home looks so cool and inviting, perfect for the hot weather. I so envy you being able to have vases of lilacs all over the house.
ReplyDeleteI love lilacs..

Your lilac looks wonderful in the garden and in the house. Some people in the UK consider it unlucky to have lilac in the house, I am not a superstitious person. I only have white lilac in my garden and it doesn't have much of a perfume. Enjoy the rest of the week and keeping posting on your gorgeous lilac a and your garden, we all love it!! ReplyDeleteBeautiful lilacs! You are happy that can have them inside.
ReplyDeleteHere it's sunny again today. But we do need some rain here too!!

Carolyn, Just when I thought lilacs could not get any more beautiful, you put them in your gorgeous vignettes and like magic, they are perfection!
ReplyDeleteYou have such a great eye for beauty!
It's so beautiful lilac! Like you I have vases around the house and look forward to smell her perfume in the bend of a piece I'm going through! The vases you've chosen are quite consistent with such delicate colors of this wonderful fragrant flower!
ReplyDeleteI loved your previous post on the pretty little Jessie!
Good day!
Lovely lilac photos, and of the tea party with your granddaughter! It's nice to teach them the finer things of life and it looks like you are doing it well!
ReplyDeleteIt must smell heavenly at your house, Carolyn!

It must smell heavenly in your home. Your lilacs have such a deep color. Gorgeous
ReplyDeleteYour lilacs are beautiful and the pitchers you have chosen to put them in are stunning. I imagine your home is filled with the lovely spring fragrance of lilacs. I also just scrolled back to you last post and the beautiful photos of your lovely granddaughter, Jessie.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are enjoying a wonderful week.
Sorry, there should have been an "r" on "your". I also wanted to let you know that my goddaughter was visiting me for a few days and I introduced her to Anne of Green Gables. She just kept saying "everything is so beautiful there". I told her of my visits to PEI and I also introduced her to your blog and she was thrilled. She must have spent an hour looking at your beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! It's been in the 90's here.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post Carolyn.. I can almost smell your lovely lilacs! Have a great week!
