Soft and Romantic Tea Time



Hello everyone,
      Hope you all had a lovely weekend once again. We enjoyed some time with our family and some relaxing time at home. It was a bit cold here but oddly enough it is going to rain tomorrow.
  I have some soft and romantic photos of my English Sadler teaset to share today.
These teacups co-ordinate very well with the tea set.

I have been playing at bit with my camera again.

The creamer and sugar bowl are Sadler as well.



I have no homemade treats today so how about some frozen mango yogurt?
I like this dried rose as much as when it was fresh from the store.
Hope you enjoyed a soft and romantic tea today.

I am joining Sandi at Rose Chintz Cottage today for her second year tea time Anniversary and the theme today is roses.

    Just a lovely set. The roses are so cute and the tea pot is beautiful.
    Dried roses are favorites here too. I had lots of them but had to throw them away as they got so dirty.
    Here we got snow this weekend and tonight we have under 20F here. Not my favorite weather!!

    I love these cups, these roses!
    I have similar pattern from manufacture Duchess, but other cup shape. Is this englich porcelain?

    Such a pretty set, Carolyn! The teacups do work very well with it. We have had some clouds and rain here for the past few days {the sun peeked out for a moment this morning, then was gone}. I anticipate some hot chocolate this afternoon!

    I like this china pattern - very dainty. The frozen yogurt looks so yummy and I'm trying to stay away from extra sweets! Oh dear. Now I want a dish of vanilla ice cream.

    Thank you Carolyn for sharing your pretty Sadler teapot. The cups are a very good match and one would think they were a set.
    The dried rose is beautiful! I always try to dry mine too. Some turn out well while others do not.

    What a wonderful memory this brought back. I gave my mother that teapot and creamer/sugar thirty years ago. Not sure where it ended it up. But I so loved it.

    Hi Carolyn, I'm here via Susan's blog, at Writing Straight from the Heart. When I saw your teapot on her blog list, I just HAD to pop over. I have that exact one! I few years ago, I began collecting teapots. As with any of my "collections," I usually stop at a small number because my interests are so varied! I have a small collection of musical snow globes, teapots and tea cups, antique plates, various statues of people holding books, S&P Shakers, etc! Your blog is just beautiful. I love all things shabby chic, pink and green, white, etc!

    Your teapot is so very beautiful and it is hard to imagine that the teapot and cups are not really a set...they are perfect together. Your photos are always so lovely and softly romantic and surely inviting for a cup of tea. Beautiful!
    As you can see, I am scrolling down and catching up on your lovely posts. I have been working on a project and have not had a chance to catch-up until now. I am hoping to finally be able to post by Sunday night or Monday morning...I just need more hours in the day! It is always such a pleasure to visit you for a cup of tea. Thank you!
