Hello everyone,
I am in the pink here today and I know I have been showing a lot of tea cups lately but it is January and a little harder for me to come up with inspiration -it is so much easier when the garden is in full bloom.
I used my new 50mm lens for all of these shots.
I do have a thing for soft and romantic shots-so I like this one taken at f/2 so it has a short depth of field.
A peachy pink rose from the grocery store. It is my weekly treat to pick up a few flowers during the off season from the garden.
I did make a fresh batch of biscuits today to go with our tea.
I am joining How Sweet the Sound for Pink Saturday today.
Have a happy weekend.
Carolyn
Carolyn, this post the the aqua blue one are so pretty. You're taking some great indoor photos with your new lens! It's difficult to find subject matter some days isn't it? We're getting freezing rain here right now - a little bit of everything today. I hope you have a great weekend. Pamela
ReplyDeleteOh, Carolyn, I'm definitely in the pink looking at your post. And pink, of course, is my absolutely FAVORITE color of all! I love pink and loved your post today. Susan
ReplyDeleteYou can never show too many teacups! The rosebud is lovely and the biscuits are wonderful! Makes me hungry! Lovely photos!

Dear Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteNEVER apologize for showing "too many teacups!" Heavens, is there even such a thing?????
What a beautiful post. You take such heavenly pictures.
Dearest Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteSorry, I am not as you in the pink but in the yellow with fresh Sweetness daffodils from our garden. Crazy to have flowers in January; maybe a making good for the scorching heat and drought in July/August?
Your pink photos are lovely! You have a natural knack for putting flowers and pretty china with lace together! Tough in winter time but also that time will pass!
How is your grandson doing; thinking about him and wondering how things developed...
All the best to you and your family with love from Georgia,
Mariette
Beautiful teasetting Carolyn. I love how you make it look so inviting and beautiful.

I love your pink teapot, Carolyn! That rose looks so pretty. Such a great idea to pick up some flowers during the Winter months. I'll have to see what they have when I go food shopping. It's been so cloudy and rainy here for so many days, I could use a bit of a perk up!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely collection. Please keep showing all your pretty cups and saucers.I can't wait to see what's next. The cookies look delicious.
ReplyDeleteDear Carolyn,

Hi Carolyn
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty pink hue to this post. I can't get over how flaky that scone looks - wow. Isn't it funny how we can focus on a particular thing in a post?

You know thus considerably with regards to this subject, produced me for my part imagine it from a lot of varied angles. Its like women and men don't seem to be interested unless it is one thing to do with Woman gaga! Your own stuffs excellent. At all times take care of it up!
