A Sheepish Tea


Hello everyone,
        I hope you can take some time out for a cup of tea-without feeling sheepish! Ha!Ha!


I have some lovely sheep sugar cookies for our tea today.
These teacups belonged to my husband's grandmothers sister many long years ago .I am happy to have several of these dishes on display in our cabinet.

We had a lovely visit with friends the other night and I came home with some beautiful new toile pillows and the beautiful sheep cookies too.



The sheep cookies came on this beautiful red and white toile serving plate-isn't it beautiful!





Relax and enjoy another peek in the Victoria Bliss magazine -it has lots of inspiration.
Darkness has fallen so I will light the candles-I see someone has enjoyed the cookies!
It is a sunny cool day here and we do have a good dusting of snow but I think it is getting mild again before Christmas. Our winters have certainly changed as I don't remember not having lots of snow for Christmas when I was a child or even when our children were small.

    I just wish I was able to sit down and have a cup of tea in that surroundings!! Looks adorable all the dishes. And the cookies looked lovely too.

    Your china as always is beautiful and so festive looking. It's wonderful to have pieces that have been in your husband's family for so long. Love those sheep cookies too - that's certainly an idea \I haven't seen before:)

    OH, MY, CAROLYN!!! Did Heather make those toile cushions and sheep cookies, by chance?! Well, if she did, she certainly knows the way to your heart AND MINE!!! I received so much pleasure just looking at your photos.

    Please pass along to Heather how much we love the painting she did for "A Christmas Tea for Lucas". It brought us such wonderful success for the fundraising. :-) I'm going to be posting on that very soon with tons of pics...

    Oh Carolyn, I feel like this table was set just for me with all the sheep...I would "flock" to join you for tea and cookies.

    I have a piece of this same toile but have not made up my mind which room I wish to use it in yet.

    Hello Carolyn, Such a lovely setting for tea! Adore your lamb cookies! I was driving home today and on the route I come across cows, goats, lambs and very, very close to some donkeys - which were loose!
