Hello everyone,
I was going through some of my outdoor shots from last winter and picked out some of my favorites to share with you. We do not have any snow here now as it has been very mild, and what we did have, is all gone.
The is our front porch last year.
I am joining Beverly at How Sweet the Sound today and also The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sundays.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Carolyn
Thanks for sharing your beautiful snow pictures.
ReplyDeleteWow! Coming to your blog is such a gardening treat!!! You are such a wonderful person to share your home with us! You are an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteGlad you shared last years white Christmas with us. Where you live is so much beauty all year long. Lovely sights.
ReplyDeleteEverything is so lovely and beautiful. That's one thing I miss about Oregon is snow...but living near the ocean in California has its perks, too :) Your photos are really dreamy. I think my two favorites are the front porch and the lamppost in the snow. The first one is the type of porch I've always wanted to have...and the second reminds me of the lamppost in the first Chronicles of Narnia movie ;) Have a great weekend. Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful everything looks, Carolyn! You've got such great things going on around your house that the snow just emphasizes their beauty.
ReplyDeleteLove the look of the lamp post and your little angel statue with snow. Beautiful place you live at.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures!!! Almost makes me wish it would start snowing ~ almost. Lovely collection. Pretty enough to be Christmas cards.

You do everything so beautifully Carolyn. I am so glad you would share these of last years outdoor decor.
ReplyDeleteThe outside is the only thing I've decorated so far this year. I lighted the gazebos and fences, but still have to hang the wreaths on the gates and arbors. We still have bare ground here too.
sending hugs...
You have a magical home and I so enjoy seeing the pictures of it. Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSo many happy memories of snow and your pictures bring them all back. I love the picture of the gate with the wreath but then again I love them all. Good to hear from you! Have a nice weekend my friend.

Oh it was so beautiful. Oh how I wish we would get some snow like that this year too! After such a dry hot summer snow would be so Heavenly.

ReplyDeleteI am very familiar with Prince Edward Island because I grew up in New England and we use to go up to PEI in the summer to visit friends. It is a beautiful place.
I live in Southern California now so I doubt we will have much snow near the water.
Your home and surroundings are gorgeous and I am thrilled to see these beautiful photos.

Good Morning Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteWOW, your home exudes the feeling of peace and comfort that I hope my home "grows up" one day to do for others, as well. Your sweet spirit welcomes the weary to sit and REkindle their soul, and I say that with all sincerity. Visiting with you this morning has uplifted me beyond measure. I am so happy that I came over for a visit!
I love your taste in music, too! Wonderfully divine!
Maybe I would enjoy getting outside in our yard more if i had such lovely decorative touches around the house. Beautiful collages from you today!
ReplyDeleteDear Carolyn,

I'll just add this in so that it's one comment that I leave...
It looks like the visit to the mansion was not only elegant but edifying, as well.
I'm with you in wanting snow but was so happy for the mild day, today. I'm afraid that I'm still working on washing those last few windows. Snow is predicted here, this Thurs, though....maybe, you'll get lucky?
Best wishes for your house tour, this Saturday (speaking of being edified and happily festive - I'm sure that your guests will have twinkles in their eyes and hearts after your hospitality. =D)
