A Sunny Summer Afternoon Tea

Hello everyone,

We have been enjoying beautiful sunny weather here and so the next thing you know we will be complaining it is too hot.But for today I wanted to share some photos of an afternoon tea that was held on our veranda today.

I went with a pink theme since the tea was for 11 lovely ladies.

There are so many beautiful peonies blooming now so I picked some for the table.
I made a fruit pizza with a cookie dough crust. The recipe came from the blog Our Best Bites. There were leftovers that my sister and I really enjoyed this evening.

I put up some curtains to block some sun as it was 29 degrees Celsius today.

Before the curtains went up.
Some of the ladies have arrived. I love the parasol.

It was a birthday party for the lovely lady in the pretty hat above,
A mother and daughter share a moment in the garden. Don't they look pretty in their hats?

I hope you enjoyed a summer afternoon tea also.

I am joining in Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch again.

Thank you for visiting,

Carolyn
