Oh! My Daffodils!

Hello everyone,
We had a nice day here today and it is going to be even nicer tomorrow so you can bet that I am out in the garden. I took a few minutes off from garden chores though to snap a few pictures of the daffodils.

The hillside garden is covered in daffodils this time of the year.
This is one area of the garden that didn't have a cleanup yet so don't look too close!

Top of hillside garden looking toward our woods with the little brook that was running like a river yesterday with all the rain.

Thalia is one of my favorite daffodils-so dainty.
This is up by the walkway to our house.

there are so many sizes, shapes and colors of daffodils.

Well, one thing about all this gardening is it makes me tired, so I am off you a hot soak in the tub and then to bed!

Goodnight!
Carolyn

  12. Dear Carolyn,

The garden is really waking up! All those daffodils. They look so pretty in your hillside garden. I see you have different varieties too and can remember. I always forget the names. Nowadays I have a little notebook in which I write it all.

Enjoy your time in the garden! I am off to England today, to get some new inspiration!

    Lieve groet,

    Madelief x

  29. There is nothing like a hillside covered with daffodils, Carolyn! How sweet yours are and I love Thalia, too. Our late spring has meant that we still have narcissus coming up, mostly Poeticus, one of my favorites. Thank you for sharing!

  30. Daffodils are lovely aren't they? Your seasons are a long way behind us here in the UK though, the daffodils in my garden are long gone and the roses are in bud now. I have Thalia in my garden too, it's a beautiful daffodil.
