Fireside Afternoon Tea

Hello everyone,
It is a wintry day here with schools closed for the day because of drifting snow so it is a good day to have a cup of tea by the fireside.
I love the Royal Albert  Rose Cameo Peach teacup that I bought at Winner's and it blends well with the Wild Rose china by Skye McGhie.

This tea is the best green tea I have ever had. Thank you ,Janice! It was a gift from one of my tea party friends last week.

Have a piece of raspberry lemon cream cake.

Well. my husband is out shoveling again and our son in law is stuck on ice and needs some help so I am thinking of the sign outside a local church that says 'whoever is praying for snow please STOP ! I have to agree enough already!!!
I am joining in with Sandi for teatime Tuesday again at Rose Chintz Cottage. Lots of lovely teas again for you to enjoy-Thank you Sandi for hosting.
Thank you for stopping by for tea with me today,

Carolyn

  21. I love your beautiful china in this tea post and I could just jump in the picture and join you for a cup and a piece of your delicious looking cake! I agree with what the church sign says lol. We have so much ice here now after last Friday's freezing rain that it makes driveways and walking very dangerous. Keep warm and cozy by your fire. Blessings, Pam

  23. Another lovely tea setting, Carolyn! Your china is so very pretty and of course, I love Skye McGhie! It all looks so inviting on this cold blustery day!
My hubby just got home from work and now he's out shoveling. Must put on the tea and fix something for him to eat while I get supper ready.
Will this snow never come to an end? I don't think I've seen a bank as high as the one we have out on our front step right now. Spring can't come quick enough!
Thank you for your lovely post. It is always a pleasure to visit you.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  28. HI Carolyn, oh goodness, you can send some of that snow over here. We haven't any this winter...at least not in town where I live :( Your tea looks fabulous...the tea, the cake, the dishes. I've discovered that Prince Albert, Royal Albert etc are my favorite china patterns. Fit my style perfectly :) :) Have a lovely tea. Thanks for inviting to share this with you today. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

  29. Dear Carolyn,
What a lovely setting for tea. I love your beautiful tea cup, and I think that flavor tea is becoming very popular. I am starting to see more of it in the tea rooms I'm visiting. Guess I need to give it a try!
If your weather get's better so won't ours! Hurry! We need warmth!
