Black and White Toile Tablescape

Hello everyone!
I am glad you came to visit as I have a lunch all ready for you .Since it is a warm sunny afternoon I have set a table for you in our little garden cottage. The doors are open so we can enjoy the garden from here.
I hope you like toile!
A little bouquet of phlox and roses looks romantic on the table.
I know many of you have seen this teapot from Winner's before but isn't it pretty? There is no marking on the bottom but I am pretty sure the box said made in England.
The chargers came from the Christmas Tree shop.
I hope I am not boring you with all these photos but you probably know by now I love to take pictures.
I closed the doors as a breeze picked up. These chairs were a thrift find that I painted and covered the seats with toile. I made the tablecloth with toile fabric from Walmart.
Well, you wait here while I go get your lunch-I will just be a minute, it is already for you I promise!

    I think that the black and white toile combo is probably the most elegant that there is. There's just something about it...

    Your table is lovely, and I agree with another comment that called it romantic. It is!

    Your photos would never bore anyone because they are all so incredibly beautiful/ They always draw me right in. The setting is just gorgeous and again, I feel like I'm looking in a very nice magazine. I love the toile fabric, and I can't believe it came from Walmart! Ours here do not carry fabric anymore unfortunately. Absolutely beautiful:-)

    Look at these tablewares! They are so so pretty! You even have matching table cloth and cushion for them! I can guess, you really Tea a lot :)

    I do have one question, you got those chargers at Christmas Tree?????????? I am a HUGE Christmas Tree shopper and I have NEVER seen anything like those. Was it recent? I may have to run right out the door if it was. They are GORGEOUS.

    Carolyn, thanks for stopping by for a visit. I'm pleased that you like the refectory table. It was designed and made for us when we lived in another house. It's a huge table, almost 12 feet long. The top is actually two separate slabs of raw, unsealed Carrera marble that sits on top of the base with a piece of black granite that sits in between them. The base was designed and made here in Oklahoma City. The designer is Carson See (See Studios). The iron work underneath was designed and forged by Heritage Ironworks in Oklahoma City. Heritage does mostly oil field work, but the owner is an incredible artist to boot. When we first used it, it sat on a wall that was 25 feet tall. The McGuire screen actually sat on top of it, with the two green crystal lamps sitting on the table in front of the screen. Glad you liked it, and now you have the information that you need to have one for yourself. Come visit any time. Cherry Kay

    Just beautiful! Every picture is magazine worthy. What a pretty toile tablescape. I love it with the pink rose. I would not thought of pairing black, white and a pink rose, but it is magnificent!

    What a lift from your lovelies today! I'm catching up on parties--I loved your chintz Victoria post and seeing the changes in your autumn garden. I was so curious what it would look like, but I knew it would be beautiful! The garden structures come so much more to the forefront with fewer flowers. You have so many nice elements to enjoy. And your Black transferware and teapots today, Oh my! Lovely, lovely tablescape!

    Very pretty, Carolyn. Now if we could just squish this huge country that we live in, I might live close enough to actually see your garden. One day, five years down the road, I will be there for tea!
    I adore that teapot, I have seen it in Winners, but I don't have the great excuse that you have. I have nobody over for tea, never mind hundreds every year. But, I would love to have it, nevertheless, one day.
