Hello everyone,
Hope you are enjoying your summer as it does speed by doesn't it? I have been busy lately and have not had much time to spare so I was reminiscing on some of my favorite summer pastime posts from last year and I thought I would share them with you.
Isn't this a pretty setting for your lunch?
How about a picnic by the sea?
Such a beautiful summer day!
What a great place to relax with a book on a sunny summer day!
I love a relaxing day at the beach!
Another great place for a picnic!
How about some time relaxing in our garden hammock?
I enjoyed a romantic tea in the garden.
I love to watch the sun set over the ocean.
Breakfast always tastes better outdoors with a couple of handsome guys-right Alec and Sam? We need to do this again soon. Sleepovers are fun!
Well, I hope you didn't mind me reminiscing with you for awhile. We have a garden tour next Saturday July 31 ( 2 until 4) that is a fundraiser for Muscular Dystrophy if any of you would like to come -tickets available at the gate$10 each with homemade cookies and lemonade.
That will be our last tour for awhile and so I hope to be spending my time doing some of the above!
Thank you for visiting,
Carolyn
What a wonderful post of past pleasures of summer. Watching the sunset would be my favorite. Stunning pictures.
ReplyDeleteCarolyn, love the dreamy images. I think you live in the most beautiful setting. A picnic on the beach, an afternoon reading in that lovely spot, breakfast in your garden ~ each one would be sheer delight for me. ~ Sarah

ReplyDeleteCarolyn, your past summer pleasures are so charming and peaceful! Nothing better than a picnic on the beach! The tour for MD sounds wonderful and I'd love to attend but my son and his family are flying in just a few hours before that. I'm sure it will be a lovely afternoon for all. Have a lovely day.

i remember everyone of your pics like the back of my hand, you live in the land of enchantment~
ReplyDeleteOh, Carolyn! I've never seen this photos before; so, what a great, super, wonderful, inspiring post!!! It's been too hot to move here and the bugs have been extra terrible and everything has been torn up and, well, a lot like a disaster zone outside. Then, this week, the weather changed, we moved the puppies to the back, Tom finished the stone wall and we washed off our front porch! THEN, - plunk - here is your inspiring post. I am READY to eat outdoors!!!!!!!! Hooray!
ReplyDeleteCan you just tell? I mean it!
Love, Katy Noelle

Dear Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteThose photos are enchanting as always. Nothing is better than to eat in the garden surrounded by fragrant flowers, listening to the singing birds... it is refreshing and so relaxing. No need to have a large garden to enjoy it. A little sunny spot, a balcony will do.
I wish you a successful tour.
Each of these looks like a dream summer day, Carolyn! Such grace and beauty in everything you put together. I will now have to get a hammock, too, as yours looks irresistible! Would you like to come and style some shots for me? – g
