Hello,
I am so glad you came back as I enjoyed taking these photos for you of my delicate white peonies.
I think they look rather beautiful against the delicate antique lace blouse.
This is a Festiva Maxima peony that came from my Dad's garden many years ago. It is taller then some and very fragrant. It has a hint or red in it.
I think this is Charlie's White peony.
This one is Krinkled White, and it doesn't need to be staked.
I love to have big bouquets of peonies in the house.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing another batch of peonies from our garden. I still have more to share but I will share something different first. I do have some other photos of the Island that I am hoping you will enjoy.
I am joinng in with Kathleen today for White Wednesday at Faded Charm where you can enjoy lots of beautiful whites.
Thank you for visiting me,
&
Take care,
Carolyn

ReplyDeleteYour peonies are just stunning, so beautiful. I live in Florida and unfortunately you can't grow peonies, it is to hot. So I have to resigned myself and enjoy yours instead.

Hi Carolyn, your whites are so beautiful...Kathy
ReplyDeleteExquisite white peonies, Carolyn! I don't think I have ever grown such fragrant peonies before. Do you think it is our lovely Island sea air that contributes? So looking forward to your upcoming Island photos. :)
ReplyDeleteSo absolutely gorgeous. I especially love the ones with the hint of reddish/pink in them. They would be SO beautiful for a wedding (I'm getting ideas already)!
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love peonies! I'm keeping this post. It is like an encyclopedia of the best peonies. I am in the market more peonies. And now I have a great reference.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post!

ReplyDeleteOoh, I just saw what Lady Farmer said, "these must be the flowers they will have in heaven,"! So true, they are absolutely DELICIOUS looking!!! Yours are TDF!
ReplyDeleteI only have one white bush and it only has one more bud on it, I am watching it closely to see if it is going to bloom, I so hope so. I want to feature it again. I love the peonies so much, I feel so blessed to have "Heaven's flowers" in my backyard!

They are just out of this world! So inspiring!!
ReplyDeleteJust amazing photos again today Carolyn. I think white peonies are definitely my favorites. I had couple of peonies started to bloom today and now I am excited to see the others show up. Have you ever heard of the peony 'Autin's Pride'? There is no better smelling white peony in the world I think. It is a late bloomer, and so worth the wait.
