A Thing of Beauty!

I just wanted to share the beauty of this amaryllis with you today.

It has a gentle fragrance as well as being beautiful.

It has eight beautiful big blooms. Often the two stalks will bloom at different times but this one is showing all it's beauty at once!

I am excited that a trip my husband and I have been working on seems to be falling into place so I will share more on that later.
Thank you for visiting me and for all your lovely comments. My computer has been really slow lately so I haven't been able to visit as much. Our two youngest sons have a birthday tomorrow so there is a party at our house with the whole clan.
Take care,
Carolyn

Carolyn your amaryllis is out-doing itself. Maybe it heard you were making plans to go away and didn't want you to miss the show!

It looks like an Appleblossom Amaryllis and it is so gorgeous. I bought a bulb for one this winter but it surprised me and was a Red Lion instead. LOL! I fell in love with them this winter when blooms were scarce. I will have to try for another one next winter after seeing your and what I missed. ;-)

Carolyn, this is definitely a thing of beauty. I've a couple of amaryllis that were Christmas gifts. They both bloomed for Valentine's Day. This one is unusual. I love the delicate color pattern on this one.
Enjoy your trip!

If my Amarylis decides to bloom this year it will be close to those colors. It's a gorgeous looking plant and a nice change from the red ones.
