Hello everyone,
I am going to join in with Cielo at the House in the Roses today for Show your Cottage Monday.
So today I am showing some of my blue and white china that I keep in this little cupboard in our porch. I think I have china in almost every room of the house. It must be my form of art!
Like pretty much all my china, this has been collected over time-a piece here and a piece there.
This little Dutch shoe belonged to my Mom.
The teapot ,cream and sugar bowl also belonged to my Mom who was born in Holland.
The soup tureen came from an auction sale a few years ago.
Well, that is all that this little cupboard can hold but go and visit Cielo for a peek in more cottages.
Thank you for visiting me,
Carolyn

Hi Carolyn, Thanks for letting me peek in your cupboard! Beautiful! I always wonder where you keep so many dishes :-) Bella
Thanks for taking us a quick tour of your blue and white collection, they are all beautiful.
Such beautiful Delft ware
That was a nice post, Carolyn. Even though you have different blue and white pieces, purchased here and there over the years, they all go together so perfectly. Great job! Sincerely, Susan
Enjoyed seeing all your blue, and the mosaic of the beautiful houses (for some reason could not comment under them.) Hope spring is showing its face up there!
I love it ~ I also have some "blues." Mine are in an old hoosier cabinet. I may have to post them one day. Thanks for sharing yours.
I just love your blue and white china...that tall pitcher in the last picture is beautiful.

Carolyn your blue and white china is gorgeous and looks wonderful in this cupboard. ♥
Carolyn.....That is a good way to think about it..china as your "art". It must be mine too because I get comments on how much of it I use on my walls. I think it is a perfect substitute for framed art or just plain pictures. YOU have a wonderful "art" collection!~Patti
Carolyn, today I just bought some nice ceramics table ware by the Parisian ceramic house, Astier de Villatte...Rustic white glazed terracotta with an impossibly romantic baroque feel. I will try to showcase them in my next blog :)
I love the tea pot with the little blue house on it!
Dear Carolyn,
You have a beautiful collection of blue and white china! The cupboard you keep it in is lovely! How wonderful you have things that belonged to your mom.
Love,
Paula
Blue and white is our favourite! It is a form of art - I'm always on the lookout for new pieces at VV.
Dear Caroly,
wish you a Happy Easter !!!
xoxo Birgit
Hello Carolyn,
I just love blue and white together. So nice!
I also love the cottages in your photos from Marthas Vineyard. Aren´t they adorable! I would love to see the inside of these homes :)
I wish you a Happy Easter,
Sanna
I have always loved Blue Willow and have used it most of my adult life. Beautiful collections!
Just saw on Podso's blog that you will soon be off to Charleston. She's a lovely old city. We enjoyed living there for a number of years and always love going back. Savannah, too, is wonderful. Y'all have a nice visit!
Best,
Bonnie
What a beautiful blue and white collection, amazing!
Happy Easter for you and your family!

This blue and white china is fabulous, Carolyn! You have the most beautiful china I've ever seen (I know I told you before, but I'm totally astounded by the beautiful pieces you own!).
Happy Easter and have fun in Savannah,
Monicax.
love your collection. Esp. the pitcher and tureen.
Carolyn, I missed this one earlier so I've popped in from Food w/ Style. Loved seeing all your blue and white in this cupboard. Can one have too many of these beautiful ceramics? Definitely ART!
You have a lovely selection of blue and white dishes!
