Today I am joining in Pink Saturday at How Sweet the Sound.
I love this thrift shop pink tea cup.
I bought this teapot a few weeks ago on our trip to Maine.
Today I am enjoying some peppermint tea in this dainty pink teacup-another thrift shop find.
We can sit here in the bay window with a view of the winter garden now that the Christmas tree is gone.
Now that we are in the New Year I am cutting back on my sugar intake so only little sugar cookies today.
and finally a collage to wrap up my pink Saturday.Thank you Beverly for hosting and I hope you all are enjoying all the pinks at How Sweet the Sound.
Have a good weekend,
Carolyn

ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn
ReplyDeleteThe cup brought back memories, my first husband and I had pink and blue ones identical to your pink one, which was mine. You now need to find the blue one for your hubby!! I love everything about your blog and am looking forward to seeing a lot more in 2010. Jackie in UK
Love the look of the cookies, any chance you would share the recipe with me... I do not have a sugar cookie recipe in my christmas book.

ReplyDeleteHow lovely to sit and have tea with you and look out to your snow covered yard. Living in Florida, I love to view winter photos of snow. You tea cups and tea pot are lovely. Very fitting for peppermint tea. Actually my husband just put water on for me, we are going to watch a movie we taped earlier and I am making a pot of Tea, I love Harney & Sons, Peppermint Herbal tea, which I guess is not "real" tea, but I love it. Happy New Year!

Hello Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteThe cups you found in the thrift store are very pretty. I could have bought them myself. Your teapot is beautiful as well. I see there is still a lot of snow on your island. We had some snow in Holland yesterday too. Not as much as the last time, but enough to enjoy and make beautiful pictures of!
Enjoy your sunday!
Lieve groet, Madelief
