Hearts and Flowers!

Hello everyone,

It is a beautiful sunny day here but cooler then last week. I love to see the sun shining on the white sparkling snow. The sun also makes it easier to take photographs indoors without the flash. So, I have been practicing on different settings with things around the house. My theme today is hearts and flowers.

A geranium blossum in the window.

A beautiful bouquet

My heart shaped plate - a much loved valentine gift from my husband a few years ago along with the teapot.

Oh! so pretty don't you think?

Now, I am off for a walk in the fresh air. Better grab my camera!

Enjoy your day!

  1. Evening Carolyn

Your posts always look so serene and romantic!

We still have a lot of snow on the ground here in Surrey UK, we could do with some of that sunshine to melt it away. I look forward to seeing the photographs you took on the walk.

    Jackie.

  6. Hi Carolyn,
I love your pictures today. The one of the geranium bloom just melted my heart. I don't have luck getting my geraniums to live in the house and only get to enjoy them in Summer so this was a treat to see yours

  19. Hi Carolyn,

Your positive happy spirit always shines through on your blog. We had snow last week and have been "suffering" with below freezing temperatures and at work and at home we all continue to grumble about the weather. You somehow manage to bring sunshine to us all, even when the sun isn't shining. Beautiful photos.

  24. Hi Carolyn,

The roses you have are very pretty. I like them very much, but unfortunately they always drop there heads when I put them in a vase. There is still snow in Holland, but I heard on the news today that the next three days we will get temperatures over 0celcius! It will be good to get the ice of the streets!

    Have a good evening!

    Lieve groet, Madelief
