White Wednesday

Oh! It really is a White Wednesday here on the Island as it has been snowing most of the day! I am happy to be getting a little more snow instead of the rain showers that they threatened us with since it is getting close to Christmas. Also my husband has booked us in for a Horse and Carriage ride around the town tonight and rain just wouldn't cut it! I am really looking forward to this and I hope to get a few pictures but unfortunately my nighttime shots are not very good ......any tips?

Well for White Wednesday I took a few photos today so I could join in the fun at Faded Charm.

Well that is it for today but if you go visit Kathleen at Faded Charm there will be lots of beautiful whites to see.

Thank you for visiting me and I hope you will come back soon.

Carolyn

  2. Hi Carolyn

I hope you enjoy your carriage ride tonight.

I have been looking up on the web about Prince Edward Island and have found a live webcam. "The camera is looking north up University Avenue, Charlottetown's main street, from the third floor of Province House".

Will your carriage ride take you up that way?? Jackie

  8. Your whites are lovely, Carolyn! I have that same little praying cherub; made him about sixteen years ago. I am not liking the snow so much! Hubby has to work out in it and so does my oldest son. I just like the look of it. I'd rather my guys didn't have to work in it.
My youngest son couldn't get in last night because of the fog. The plane circled the city for an hour before taking off to NFLD and then back to Toronto. They're sending another flight in this evening. I can't wait to see him! A year is way too long to not see your baby boy!

    Christmas blessings,
    Sandi

  10. Carolyn.. not sure as to night shots.. if you have a point and shoot camera, they still have some options to change the shuttle speed.. ie slowing it down to capture more light, yet needs a steady hand. Remove the flash and use if possible a stand to hold the camera. I've had some good night shots and some really bad ones that didn't even make it off the camera.

Enjoy the carriage ride and sip a hot totty for me.
