Good evening everyone,
It is a lovely evening to stay curled up by the fireside with a cup of tea or a nice cup of cocoa.
I have been working on getting the house all cosied up for the Christmas season. Tonight,I plan to enjoy the fruit of our labors by having a relaxing evening by the fire with my sweet husband.
enjoying a cup of tea with the Christmas music playing quietly in the background. Have you heard Enya's And Winter Came- I love it.
I think after relaxing with our tea for awhile it would be a good evening to watch a nice Christmas move. One of my favorites is Little Women- what is your favorite Christmas movie?
I hope I haven't put you to sleep yet-it is getting warm in here!
Hope you have a warm cozy evening too,
Take care,
Carolyn
Lovely and cozy Carolyn put me in the mood to decorate even though I prepare for surgery over Christmas.

ReplyDeleteHi Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteYour living room looks so cozy. I like the fire place with the guirlandes! We have a fireplace as well. The last couple of years we have not really done anything to it with Christmas. Maybe this year I will decorate it with some fresh (pine) branches from the garden.
Happy day!
Lieve groet, Madelief

ReplyDeleteLooking so homey. I haven't started the Christmas decor, since we were on vacation. However I did listen to White Christmas (one of my favorite movies) and my hubby sang in our annual Christmas concert this night!! So I am gearing up.

What a gorgeous fireside Carolyn. Everything is just so lovely! I can almost feel the warmth of your fire.
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas movies. Little Women is one of my very favorites also. I have to say that all of Dicken's The Christmas Carol are my favorites.
Hugs,
June
Such a lovely room - I wish I could just pop over for a cup of tea and sit by your fire. So peaceful and now you have me motivated to take down my Christmas decor from the attic. Don't laugh but one of my favorite winter movies is "Grumpy Old Men". Not one of your Christmas classics but a good movie about friendship.
