White Wednesday

I love the idea of White Wednesday that Kathleen came up with over at Faded Charm, so I decided to join in today. Some of you may have seen these pictures before,~ I apologize but I seem to have a mental block today, for new ideas. This was one of my favorite posts of the summer,---so I hope you don't mind another peek. For those of you who are new here I hope you enjoy a White Tea in our little garden cottage.
There is something so soothing about the color white.

I picked up these dishes at tj max
This old white lace tablecloth came from a thrift shop in Camden Maine when we went for a little trip(what is a vacation without hunting for a few treasures)

I love the candlestick with the crystals relecting the light. Help yourself to the egg salad sandwiches.
Take a cup and saucer
And now we can visit with a cup of tea.

Hope you enjoy visiting all the lovely participants at Kathleen's Faded Charm.

                                         Thank you for visiting me,

                                                                 Carolyn

  5. Good morning Carolyn,
Your whites are lovely. Even the second time around, they are beautiful. And I love your terrace at twilight shown below! It all looks so magical. One can almost see the little fairies dancing among the white lights. Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos and enjoy your day.

    Blessings,

  8. Just GORGEOUS! I don't mind at all if you already have posted these photos before! It's like a good magazine that you pick up over and over again because no matter how many times you look at it, you still find enjoyment from it!

  9. Hi Carolyn,

It doesn't mather you show us the pictures again. They are beautiful! I think your inspiration will return soon, now with the weather changing. The wind will bring in new ideas...You wrote in my blog that in your garden not all plants have been in bloom yet. You are so lucky. In Holland fall has already started. The weather is still fine, but I already have a lot of plants/trees in my garden which have dissapeared or lost their leaves.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Lieve groet, Madelief

  18. I so love these white vignettes. Yes, so soothing indeed! But yet I lean toward the brighter colors every time. Don't know what I'd do without red! But I so admire these rooms when I see them!
