Tablescape Thursday

Today I am joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.

We have been having beautiful summer weather so it is lovely to eat in the terrace. the terrace was built by my husband several years ago in our garden. It is covered with clematis, virginia creeper and a grapevine. It is wired so I can play quite background music and has mini lights so it is nice in the evening also.

I used my red and white transferware dishes for this lunch.

I made cream of carrot soup, scones and tomato and cucumber sandwiches.

I got this soup tureen at a local thrift shop.

We were having company for lunch so I set the table for four.

I did make a peach pie for dessert but forgot to take pics of it.

We enjoyed a very pleasant visit with our minister and his wife over lunch in our terrace.

Thank you so much for visiting too!

Now be sure to check out the other lovely tablescapes at Susan's beautiful blog Between Naps on the Porch if you haven't already.

Have a good day!

Carolyn
