Colorful Vintage Shop

When we were down south recently we
stopped in at Through the Years Vintage
Market in Tavares Fl. not far from Mt Dora.
If you are in the area I think you would enjoy
                                                                checking it out.

They have a large selection of colorful
vintage as well as some antiques.
Lots to see....did you notice the
                                                                 painted wood floor?
There is lots to see upstairs as well.

   Tea anyone?

This is not in the shop but my display of
black and white in our own old cupboard.
At Christmas I had silver and mercury glass
mixed in but when I removed it I added the white
pieces.

   Thank you for stopping by!

Carolyn

I sure noticed the gold fondue pot in the one photo. I still have my gold one and an orange one from the early 70's. There were so many interesting things in that shop!

The minute I saw the pictures of this shop, I knew where it is. I lived in Mt. Dora for 3 years before moving about 20 miles out. I especially love all the "colorful" colors in their kitchen displays.

Did you notice the beautiful "Garden Gate" tea room is closed. What a sad day for us. I remember you posted lovely pictures a few years ago. Such a loss to the community.

When in Florida, do you stay in Central Florida?

Love your blog posts.
