A Spring / Easter Breakfast!

Hello everyone,
I know I am rushing the season a little with a spring breakfast in February but I couldn't resist.
I love these cute plates that I brought home from our trip to Florida last year. They came from the Cracker Barrel and they were very inexpensive ..Maybe,you didn't know you could take china home in a suitcase!
Love the little egg cups too!
The bunny planter was a yardsale find and the other cute bunny was a gift.
A bowl of fruit with yogurt and granola.
There are Meijers groceries that could be a good option for deals.

They even had the little salt & pepper shakers.

This cute little bunny came from Winner's.

Although we still have snow-it does feel like spring today. I am enjoying the longer daylight hours and having more birds in the garden, so good things are happening!

Thank you for stopping by for an early spring breakfast! Now, that I have had my breakfast I am off for a walk on this lovely mild day. I can't wait until I can walk around the garden and see tulips etc.,poking through.

I am joining Between Naps on the Porch today for Tablescape Thursday and French Country Cottage for Feathered Nest Friday.Today,I am also joining My Romantic Home for Show & Tell.

  1. And a gorgeous Easter/Spring breakfast it is, Carolyn.

I woke up this morning thinking about changing the hearth room mantel, making Spring happen even if the calendar says different.

  3. Hello Carolyn,
Enjoyed your spring table so much.
I have those darling egg cups. I bought mine after Easter on clearance. I noticed your white pitcher in the background with the little raised dots on it--love it!

  4. Yes, aren't we Canadians enjoying a mild winter this year. I love this post. My favorite time is Easter and I am gearing up to enjoy many beautiful posts with bunnies, gorgeous china & all the trimmings. You have put me in the Spring mood and I just may get out a few of my bunnies to show off. I would certainly linger at this table. So gorgeous! Hugs, Deb=^..^=x4

  5. It looks so pretty, who cares if it's February, Carolyn! : ) I am a bunny nut so I love your plates. I finally live in a state where there is a Cracker Barrel and I am going to make sure I get there to see if they might carry these plates this year.

I bought an egg cup like that, but it was made into a little pincushion by a bloggy friend. Then I have my Peter Rabbit egg cup which I keep in my whites cabinet on display.

  34. Greetings Carolyn!

Looove the bunny plates. If you see any this time around, would you think of me and I'll email you the $$$!!!!

And, yes, as a matter of fact, I did know that you can transport china in a suitcase! haha And in a briefcase. And in a beach bag. And in a carry-on (the safest way, BTW). When we flew home from visiting you last summer, the airport security fellow looked in Midge's carry on with all the pink china and said, "None of my business. Just sayin'" Tee hee

  37. Such a pretty Easter table! So much of the Easter stuff is so "tacky" (sorry God!). The egg cups are just precious and I love all the soft colors. I like seeing an "early" table so we borrow ideas from it!

  42. I'm such a sucker for bunnies! For easter eggs! For spring-like china! This is so pretty, Carolyn.

Our snow is mostly gone! We got some wet snow but it had completely disappeared by noon and left the grass tingeing that strange, new spring green.

Do you know? The fellas in the photography forum never believe how green our grass is when it really gets going in May. Do you know what I mean? Even harder to describe, though, is how that brown mush of a meadow looks 'green' to me, now. ;)

I hope that your walk was pleasant! =]

  46. Dear Carolyn,

I enjoyed your spring breakfast very much! It feels like spring in Holland at the moment. It's very mild at the moment. We will spend some time in the garden tomorrow. There is still so much to do. I think I will start pruning my roses. I hope they survived the severe cold we had two weeks ago.

    Have a lovely weekend!

  47. Dear Carolyn,

It seems to me that you never do anything just half way but always go all the way out. Lovely!

I am often thinking about how absolutely huge your cabinets must be with all the settings you have :0) Lucky you.

Spring is in the air in my part of The World. At least for a few days. Snowdrops are everywhere in my garden now. Cannot wait for all the various bulbs to show what they have been hiding in the ground.

    Have a lovely weekend!
