This and That !

Hello again!
I think I mentioned that I have been taking lots of photos lately so I popped in to share a few with you once again.

My sister and I went into Charlottetown, when the Royal couple were here and waited for a few hours to get a glimpse of them as they went down the street in their carriage .Of course, there were a lot of people up and down both sides of the street and you didn't have long to get a shot of them so these are my best shots. It was fun to be part of the excitement anyway.

Hope you enjoy a relaxing and pleasant Sunday!

Take care,

Carolyn

  1. Happy Sunday Morning To You, Carolyn!

We are just having thunder storms here today, but the garden sales are on - 50% off - so we are braving the heavy raindrops and going for it!!

I think your photo of William and Kate is one of the best I've ever seen!!! They both have such beautiful smiles - it makes me smile just to see them! Wicked job on the photography, my friend! Lol People Mag will be coming for you!!!!

    Wishing you a beautiful day!

  4. Your flowers and your pictures are always so beautiful. Enjoyed the delphiniums post too. Such exquisite beauty. Do you have to spray your roses with fungicide or are they all varieties that resist disease. I have soooooo much maintenance in Illinois in Zone 5, it's not even worth it. Plus, with kids, I don't like to use chemicals, especially because I bring so many bouquets inside.

  7. Hi Angela,
Thank you for your kind words.
Our garden is all grown organically so I am happy to say we don't use any chemical sprays. So far,we have not even used garlic, baking soda and soap on anything and there may be a few bugs or holes in leaves but nothing that takes away from the beauty.
    Take care,
    Carolyn

  10. Hi Carolyn,

How exciting to have seen Kate & William! That something lots of people, me included, can only dream about. They both look very good on the photo.

Your bouquet of garden flowers looks beautiful! Those colours....

Love your set of aqua bowls too.

Sorry to hear about your mum. I will go into town this week and see if I can find a nice Dutch postcard to send her.

    Happy new week!

    Lieve groet,

    Madelief x

  14. Hi Carolyn,
Another fabulous post. I love your mosaics. Great program you have. Your weather is perfect to grow just about any flower. Being in Zone 9 it's hot and some of my flowers can't take the heat. By the way I saw the Queen and the Royal family while in London on the Queen's birthday this June. I have a post so if you are interested please visit. Your photograph is amazing.
    Bless you

  20. So beautiful roses you have. Mine seems to be raining away now. This year the seasons sure has turned up side down. We had summer in April instead of now!! But some roses are here.
Hope you have a lovely day.
