Perfectly Pink Peonies

Hello everyone,
I am glad you stopped by as I have some beautiful pink peonies to show you today. I love peonies and there are lots of them blooming in the garden now but with the hot sunny weather they never last long enough so I like to capture their beauty with my camera so I can enjoy them year round at least to some degree. Unfortunately, I can't capture their wonderful fragrance so it will soon just be a memory.

Pink peonies in my old but pretty teapot.

As you may have guessed I am joining Pink Saturday at How Sweet the Sound and also Hakan at The Rose Garden in Malevik.

I hope you enjoy a beautiful sunny weekend!

Carolyn

  3. Hi Carolyyn...I totally envy your peonies. They are so beautiful. Sadly these will not grow in our Australian climate so I will just have to be happy looking at your pretty pink ones.

  10. WOW!!! Your peonies are BEAUTIFUL Carolyn!! They are quickly becoming one of my favorite flowers!! Just gorgeous!! My current post on my blog is a tutorial on how to make paper peonies from coffee filters :)) They don't smell as good, lol, but they last a lot longer. Down here in Texas we spend a small fortune on a bouquet of peonies!! So for me, paper peonies are the only way to go!!
Your photos are amazing too!! They look like they belong in a magazine!! Seriously!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful world with us!!
    LOVE FROM TEXAS!!!

  16. A stunner of a post, today - those peonies are out of this world gorgeous! They are perfect in your teapot, too! I can't have them in the house - I got so sick with allergies the last time I brought a bouquet in. I was a mess for two days. But, enjoying them via the camera is treat enough. Thanks for sharing!
    Joy!

  26. Peonies are my favorite flower and yours are magnificent! Usually you can't even find them growing here in the Desert and I'd so like to have them in floral arrangements like those lovely ones you've photographed! I once saw them offered in Trader Joe's but they were not looking very healthy so alas I had to pass on the one time I even found them available! Obviously too hot for such delicate blooms. *le sigh*
