Pretty China!

Hello everyone!
I hope you are enjoying these early days of spring. I love the longer evenings and the sunnier days we have been getting. Our snow is slowly melting away but we still have quite a bit to go yet.

I love this old china that I have collected pieces of here and there.

I always have to share a little bouquet with you. Did you notice the aqua mason jar- I have finally found a few of them. I have admired them on some of your blogs but they don't turn up here very often it seems. One jar was given to me and the others were $3. each, pretty reasonable for a treasure!

This little bunny has been showing up a lot lately but a real white bunny ran though the garden a couple of days ago. My daughter saw a couple of brown bunnies in her back yard with a fox in pursuit. I hope the bunnies out foxed him somehow!

Well, I was just playing with my dishes and thought you might enjoy them too!

Thank you so much for all your compliments yesterday on our sweet grandbabies.

I would also like to take a minute to thank my  friend Gilda from Italy who did a  feature of my blog today over at her lovely blog Sweet Sweet Home. I am very touched by all her kind words. For any of you looking for balcony or windowbox ideas be sure to check out the previous post she did also- I was amazed! Thank you so much,Gilda.

Take care,
Carolyn

Hi Carolyn
Your vintage china is very pretty and I can almost smell your bouquet.
I've seen a couple of the blue mason jars at the antique place here and they're expensive. Hope yours was reasonably priced, I'm still thinking on purchasing one.

Hi Carolyn...

Oooh...your china is simply gorgeous, my friend! I love the pretty purple or lilac color and pattern! Is that a Wedgewood teapot that I am seeing? Sooo pretty! Your aqua colored mason jar looks scrumptious with the white baby breath and pretty lilac!!! Lovely, dear friend...thank you so much for sharing it with us today!

Warmest spring wishes,

I feel like I'm always telling you how beautiful your things are. Tonight I realized that you are surrounded by all this beauty all the time. I'm questioning how much different my life could be if I surrounded myself with beauty. You've given me grand things to ponder - thank you! I needed this today.

I found a link to frog jar lids for mason jars. http://www.etsy.com/listing/51512830/mason-jars-flower-frog-lids-pint-vases-4. I have a friend who sells them in her booth in an antique store. The ones that I have are the aqua. They come with a regular lid and a lid that has the wire frog built into it. Let me know if you would like me to find out if she is selling them again this year. You can also buy the lids separately. Love your design. Thank you for sharing with us. Cherry Kay

Hello dear Carolyn,
Your china is so pretty. I'm glad you found some turquoise jars. I have one that I found in the USA.
Such gorgeous flowers, won't be long before they will be growing in your garden.
Hugs, Cindy

Lovely china, beautifully displayed. I have a few of the blue mason jars and one of them is fairly large but has no bail, only a glass cap. I had decided it would make a wonderful vase but I've not made a table setting with it yet. When I saw yours it made me smile.

I always enjoy you sharing your lovely china collection. It seems to be endless.

Like you I am enjoying the longer and sunnier days and am spending most of my time in the garden which is why I haven't posted on my own blog in a while. Today I shared some gorgeous flower arrangements for a wedding function that I helped with this past Friday. It is always a joy to work with flowers.

I am always uplifted after visiting you blog.
