The Pleasures of Tea

Hello everyone,

I am glad you came by for a visit on this beautiful sunny day as I have the tea already on and a few little treats for us as well.

I went with a pink theme today.

I love pretty teacups don't you?

Sugar cookies go nicely with a cup of tea.

The double inpatients are so pretty.

We can sit here and enjoy the garden and the soothing sound of the water fountain nearby.

These chocolate carrot cake cupcakes are so yummy-my daughter made them for us.

Love my hydrangeas!

I got this pretty teapot last year on a trip to Maine-so pretty I couldn't resist it!

The Pleasures of Tea is one of my favorite Victoria books and as some of you may know I am a big Victoria fan. I think I have every issue and I always look forward to the new issue every second month. I am hoping they will soon be monthly.

I hope you enjoyed the pleasure of tea as much as I did!

Today is a busy day for parties and so I am joining in with

Kathy at A Delightsome Life for Victoria A Return to Loveliness - what a great idea Kathy!

Sandi at Rose Chintz Cottage Inspirations is hosting her lovely TeaTime Tuesdays again.

Lady Katherine at Lady Katherines Tea Parlor for her lovely Tea Time Tuesday.

Marty at A Stoll Thru Life for lovely Tabletop Tuesday.

Thank you for visiting me and tomorrow I will take you on a tour of the garden.

Enjoy your day!

Carolyn

This is a beautiful post!!! I love the pink theme. Of course, since pink and green are my favorite colors, a pink theme is always a delight for me.

Your teapot is exquisite.

The whole setting is beautiful.

Oh, and I'm with you on Victoria magazine. I list it in my "about me" section as one of my favorite things. I, too, would love to see it monthly!!

Have a lovely day,

Hi Carolyn,
What a beautiful setting to enjoy a cup of tea. I'm more of a coffee gal myself, but I can't resist a pretty table setting... your's is SO gorgeous!
I'm a big fan of Victoria magazine, too. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they did a monthly publication?!
Enjoy your tea party!

My surgery went well I am home and enjoyed your lovely garden photos -always so pretty and refreshing to see. I love sugar cookies with tea!
I think the pinkness helps me heal faster. I miss the old Victoria a little more in depth than new version but glad to see it back.I have every issue also.

Hi Carolyn,

I always enjoy looking at your teacups and pots! You have such a great collection.

Love the view of your garden in the background. It's so full of colour!

Unfortunately we cannot buy the Victoria magazine in Holland, but I kept the magazines you sent me. Now and then I have a look at them and dream away...

Lieve groet, Madelief

Don't you just love the 'Victoria' books! I have nearly all, but do not have the 'Tea' one. I am sure if they still had the old editor, you would be in the magazine. You fit right in, you have the touch.
