A Casual Garden Lunch

Hello everyone,

I am glad you stopped in as I just finished setting the table for a casual lunch here in the garden.

I picked some phlox for a bouquet.

I have set out some of my dainty pink and white china.

Grab a plate

pick out your favorite teacup

pour yourself a cup of tea

maybe you would like some iced tea in my new pitcher bought at my neighbours auction

Well help yourself and then find a seat in the garden and enjoy!

Did you find a spot to sit ?

Today I am joining Susan for Tablescape Thursday again. Thank you Susan at Between Naps on the porch for hosting this great event.

Take care,

Carolyn

  2. So pretty! Your china is lovely and your gardens are fabulous! I'd love to be a guest at your luncheon. I also love that you have Anne of Green Gables clips on your sidebar...your place on PEI reminds me so much of all those "Anne" books I read growing up.

  16. Hello Dearheart...

So happy to stop in to Aiken House and Gardens today, my friend! It's all just as gorgeous as ever! Well Darlin'...for setting a "casual" table as you put it...it is certainly a treat and such beautiful eye candy to this old gal! Ohhh...I just long to have that cup of tea in your beautiful garden!!! It's lovely, my friend...I always just love looking through all of your pretty dishes! So how long did you say that you've been collecting them? A couple of hundred of years or so? Hehe! You have so many, many pretties!!! Love your new pitcher and I must admit that I'm more of an iced tea drinker than of hot tea! I think it's due to the 30 yrs. I spent in a warm south Texas climate! Thank you so much, Carolyn...it's always such a treat and a pleasure to come by your place for a visit!!!

    Warmest wishes,
    Chari
