Today I am joining in for a beach party over at Gina's A Shabby Chic Cottage. Coming from Prince Edward Island we are surrounded by beautiful beaches-so what coild be better then a beach party? The photo above is one of my favorite beach photos that I took this summer.
My friend Heather took this shot of me the same day,same place.
The beach is a great place for a picnic-don't you think?
This is another picnic day at Fort Amherst, P.E.I.
We had some great beach days and I am glad I was able to go and enjoy some of them as all to soon those days will be gone for another season.
We have miles and miles of beautiful uncrowded beaches!
The beaches are a lovely place to go for a long walk in the evenings.

There are many beautiful lighthouses around the shores of Prince Edward Island.
I love to watch the sunset at the beach.

Anne of Green Gables is one of our family's favorite classics! Our 2 daughters, now grown, would reenact scenes and forever speak like Anne Shirley with her extensive vocabulary! The other day it was on PBS and I walked in the room when I heard her speak...our girls are away at college...it was my hubby enjoying the movie :o)
