Summer Garden Teas

Hello everyone,
I hope you didn't give up on me
as my little blog break stretched
out a bit longer then I planned.

This time of year there is always
lots to do as we get our garden
ready for the season and spring
cleaning done inside.

We are getting some beautiful spring
weather here so it won't be long until
we will have lots of color in the garden.

I am looking forward to tea
in the garden once again.

So, I am sharing some summer teas
from past summers.

       Ah! so romantic
                                                                       Evening light is also
                                                                       very romantic....don't you think?

I love garden bouquets and
pretty linens.

An afternoon tea by the pond.

Right now our garden is still in the
brown stage but the warm weather we are having
will make a big difference.

I am looking forward to hosting
a garden tea for a very worthy cause
in July this year.
I will have more details coming soon
so if you are interested stay tuned!

Thank you for visiting me,

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,
I hope you had a restful blogging break. Sounds like you might have cleaned house. I remember the year you and your husband went to England for a holiday. I am having a little tea party next Wednesday for my lady friends. The roses are blooming, and the temps are in the 80's. Thank you for sharing your beautiful tea parties from years past. I always find many different ideas from your photos. Love each one.
Joyously,
Betty

Sounds like you are really looking forward to Summer, Carolyn. Spring and Summer are such lovely times in the garden to entertain with tea parties and to just walk around. However, such beauty means many hours of work and preparation!
Glad you are enjoying some beautiful Spring weather, as we are making the most of lovely Autumn days in the Southern Hemisphere.
I love looking at your special tea time photos.
Thank you.

Love love your pictures. The outdoor bedroom is calling my name! In Southwest Florida it’s starting to heat up and humidity returning. Winters are lovely here but Summers are miserable. Guess we can’t have it all.

Teas are so much fun. In my younger days our annual teas were enjoyed by all and so were the benefits. A great way to gain new friends and enjoy togetherness. I think your summer teas will be a wonderful thing.
All of your setting are lovely.
