Garden Mosaic Monday

                                                                                     Hello everyone,

Hope you are had a lovely weekend ~
we enjoyed a lovely picnic style lunch
on the porch with all our family this
                                                                   weekend......a summer celebration.

One foggy morning a couple of
                                                                 weeks ago.
These shots were taken in our garden
on the weekend. The peonies and roses
                                                                             are blooming.

These photos were taken back when I first
started blogging ~ it is still one of my
                                                                 favorite summer picnic shots.

These were taken just a couple of weeks
ago but now the Miss Canada lilac needs
to be deadheaded but the Japanese lilac behind
it is in full bloom and wonderfully scented.
I love that when something is past there is
something new to take it's place until the
                                                                        end of the season.
Scarlet O' Hara peony and Therese Bugnet rose.
Beautiful tall breaded iris are still in bloom
                                                                  here.

I am off to the garden to tend to a few chores
and then I think I should pick a few new bouquets
                                                                  to enjoy indoors.

I am joining Lavender Cottage for Mosaic
                                                                  Monday.

Thank you for visiting and have a lovely day!

Liebe Carolyn, herrlich üppige Bilder aus deinem Garden Eden!Alles ist so saftig grün! Hier verbrennt und vertrocknet alles vor Hitze! Aber es ist Sommer! Viel Freude weiterhin mit Deinen tollen Blüten! Grüße aus Germany von Susan

It amazes me how you can have peonies and roses in bloom at the same time, I'm envious. I rebelled this year and didn't cut the blooms back on lilacs 'Miss Kim' and 'Paladin' for there are so many as you know. I'm interested to see how they will bloom next year. My reason being that no one deadheads the ones in the wild and they put on a great show every year.
I like your picnic set up with the checkered tablecloth and basket, definitely says summer.
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday Carolyn.
