Random Mosaics

                                                                      Yesterday we had a good
blanket of snow so I took
a few shots around our home.
Last night our snow turned to rain
so we lost a lot of the snow already.
However, it is cold and windy out
there now, so it a very different
winter then last year ~ so far.

Some of my new transferware pieces
that I got on our last trip to Maine.
                                                               Amaryllis blooming now.
I also found the two bowls on the bottom
                                                              right in Maine.
                                                                       A touch of aqua

The Boathouse is still decorated for Christmas but
I did take down almost all the Christmas stuff in the
                                                     house.
I took these shots yesterday to capture the snow out the windows.

I am joining Mosaic Monday at Lavender Cottage.

Hope you are enjoying these winter days.

Lovely as ever Carolyn. It must take you a long time to take your Christmas decor down. I did that today but with a small house, it didn't take me more than a couple of hours.
Thank you for linking to Mosaic Monday.

Hi Carolyn,
Hope you and Andrew enjoyed Christmas with family. Midge and I have been thinking of Jen and Lucas and hoping all is well.
The boathouse is beautiful. What a glorious job you've done on the design! TEAMWORK, for certain. Love how you've decorated it for Christmas, too. I love the bells at the foot of the bed and the new transferware you found in Maine, just precious.
I have enjoyed a nice holiday over Christmas and New Year's and now it's back to work in the morning! I think my retirement date might be drawing closer now that Midge is back to work. We have much to be thankful for in 2015.
Please tell Heather that I am enjoying her art!
Hugs,
Linda at Beautiful Ideas

Beautiful mosaics. I do love snow but we get very little of it out here on our west coast island. The transfer ware is gorgeous - love that shade of blue.

So beautiful. I love the aqua touches with your blue and white transfer ware. The boat house looks sweet in red and white too. We still have snow and it sure is cold here at -20!
