Christmas Blessings

As Christmas is rapidly approaching it
is good to take a few peaceful moments
to reflect on the real reason we celebrate
Christmas and to remember how richly
                                                           we have been blessed.
Today's afternoon Christmas tea is served in my new to
me teapot. I love the shape  and the unusual color of this old
transferware teapot that I bought in an antique mall in Wells
Maine on our holiday last week.
This transferware teacup was a fluke find in another
shop and is almost the perfect match for the teapot.

Teatime today is being served in
                                                                   the Christmas Cottage.
                                                                  On the mantel.

                                                                          Reflections
                                                                     A sweet pair of boots.

Sugar cookies are one of my favorites
with a cup of tea.

I just recently watched the movie~
The Christmas Blessing,,,have you seen it?

   Looking around the Christmas Cottage.
Wishing you Christmas Blessings this season.
I am joining Rose Chintz Cottage for Tea Time Tuesday
and Bernideen's Tea Time Blog for Friends Sharing Tea.

                                                                                  Thank you for your visit!

Very pretty, Carolyn. The teapot and cup and saucer are sweet. I have the book but haven't seen the movie. I've been re-reading Karen Kingsbury's Red Gloves Series this month. Maybe I'll read The Christmas Blessing again too! Have a wonderful Christmas. Pam

Your Christmas decor looks lovely and I love the wee painted horse. I am still putting up my decorations. I have just finished re-decorating my bedroom and hope to post it next week. Your room is so feminine and pretty. I have chosen to go a little more feminine too.

Have a lovely Christmas.

Carolyn, what a lovely find in that teapot and teacup! I like the shape of the teapot; charming! Your sugar cookies look like my own. Your cottage is such a sweet place to have your tea and I'm so glad I had an up close and personal visit to it. Thank you for sharing your pretties with us and joining me for tea. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!

I've had an incredibly busy holiday season but still managed a peek throughout it at all the incredible spaces you have been creating. I appreciate them all. Wishing you and your family all the joys of the season. Thank you for a year of dreams and loveliness.

A beautiful setting for your tea, Carolyn! What a gorgeous teapot - love the colors and the shape of it. I've got that same tray! : ) I have not read the book or seen the movie. There seem to be so many on the two Hallmark channels I have, I don't know what to watch.
