Valentine's Day Tablescape

                                                                   Hello everyone,
Hope your week is going well. For my tablescape today, I am using
a mix of my brown and white china for a special Valentine's Day
                                dinner.
My 'Brown Botanical' teapot goes well with the romantic plates
                                   Claire Wilson's ~ Heaven.
The lacy chargers add a romantic touch.
These pretty red roses have lasted for over a week.I put them in
a cool room at night to keep them fresh longer.
The table is set by the baywindow again.

                                                             Lace & Linens

The cherub urn with the english ivy gives a bit of a garden feel
to the table.I am hoping that since winter started early this year
                                       spring will also.

A storm is headed our way but it is a mix of snow and rain so it is hard to say what we
will end up with but I know that many of you south of us have been hit hard.

Today, I am joining Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.

Hope you have a special day tomorrow!

                                                                                        Carolyn

Your table reminds me of the tea house in Mt. Dora. So pretty. Wishing you a Happy Valentines Day. We are cool here today but the past few days have been perfect for working in the flowerbeds and garden. Azaleas are starting to bloom here now. Hope that you don't get ice and too much snow. It has been such a hard winter for so many.

Your table is so gorgeous in the bay window. I would not think brown transferware would work for Valentine's Day - but it is totally perfect. That is what I enjoy about visiting all these tables. It opens my eyes to new ideas. Your table is lovely.

Dear Carolyn:
Happy Valentine's Day!♥♥♥ As much as I enjoy your lovely blog...I am often filled with envy of your dishes (please forgive me)...I would so love to have an antique shop close by to find treasures like you....Then I would have to spirit you away to shop with me to train my eye. See the depth of my sin...there is no end, ahhhh. I simply must know where you found those lacy chargers...Have mercy and put me out of my pain...☺

Hi Cynthia,
The lacy chargers came from The Christmas Tree Shop in Maine a few years ago.
Thank you for your sweet comment~it would not be hard to spirit me away to the antique/thrift shops!

Ohh...Carolyn, thank you so much for sharing where you found the lacy chargers. Sooo sweet of you.
Have you any idea what a comparable Christmas Tree Store would be here in Southern California?
Hate to say it but yesterday it was 80 degrees, what we wouldn't do for some snow.
This summer water will, no doubt, be rationed so gardening will be a challenge.
More the reason to enjoy your blog and garden. The beauty of it all.
You also are quite beautiful and your environment reflects your beauty and artistry.
Thank you for sharing.
May our good Lord continue to bless you, as you bless us.
Again, Happy Valentine Day♥
