Tea Time

                                                            Hello everyone,
It was nice to have a cooler but sunny day today so I was able to do a few projects outdoors.Since,I was busy I didn't take the time for a fancy tea but a little tea break is always nice.
I still have a few peonies blooming in the garden but they are getting scarce.I got this vase at the thrift shop awhile back but whenever I saw it I thought of big fluffy pink peonies in it.
The teapot was also a recent find and it has no name on the bottom only a number.
                                                         A Sadler tea cup.
                                        Tea in the sunroom.

Thank you for popping in for tea time today.

I am joining Tea Time Tuesday at Rose Chintz Cottage.

Take care,
Carolyn

I would buy those too in a heartbeat. This is a lovely post! I featured your post from last week on my Tea In The Garden!

I think the vase would look pretty holding other flowers as well...white roses, stocks, etc., etc. Beautiful photos!

Oh, that vase was just calling for big, fluffy peonies. It looks beautiful. The tea-pot is so cute. I would love it in miniature. Deb

A beautiful tea you have set, but I think the vase is outshining everything else. I have never seen a more pretty one before.

I absolutely ADORE that gorgeous teapot, Carolyn! Your tea is so lovely.

So glad you had a break in weather - sure hope we do soon - this heat and rain every day is getting old, even for me who loves rain normally.

The beauty of your last peonies, more precious than the others because they are the last ones of the season, is accentuated in this charming vase.

That vase is gorgeous, Carolyn! It looks wonderful with the pink peonies in it, too.

The vase does call out for romantic flowers and your peonies look pretty in it. The teapot has a nice shape and pattern, I always check spouts for pouring ability and it's perfect.

You mentioned it being cooler there. We are getting so hot here. Not as bad as TX and CO but up there and the humidity is here I believe to stay throughout the summer. With that said, Ice tea would be a great treat even though your pot of tea looked inviting.
Enjoy the cooler and the last of this seasons peonies for me.
Hugs
Becky
