Autumn Setting

                                                           Hello!

Another beautiful Autumn day here-so I was happy to enjoy spending some time outdoors today. I puttered a bit ,planting a few bulbs and moving a few plants into a small new bed we made.
I did take a few pictures in the garden.
I like this autumn look here on the north side of our home.

As the sun was setting I shot this one.
And this was my after school buddy who joined me on my walk through the woods today. I loved seeing his happy face running to meet me after the school bus dropped him off!

I am joining My Romantic Home today for Show & Tell Friday.

Wishing you a happy weekend!

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn...That little face would make me happy, too. And the garden? An earthly paradise in all seasons. Thank you for sharing. Susan

I feel like I could cuddle up under the throw in the chair in the garden and take a nap right now.
Sweet!

What a lovely Autumn post Carolyn. Your gardens have given us all allot of pleasure again this year and I can't imagine the work you and your honey put into it. You obviously love doing it and it shows. Your little after school buddy is very handsome! Enjoy your warm weather!

A lovely setting with your wicker chair in the garden. What a little cutie to see after school. I hope you have a nice weekend.

Your little grandson is a darling Carolyn! I love times with my little grands too.
Your fall garden is beautiful! Our colors here haven't been as pretty this year because of several nights in the 20s already blackened a lot of the leaves and hydrangeas here. But the crab apples are still pretty.
I always love seeing your beautiful posts.

Carolyn,
For me, your garden is perfection. I wish to have something similar some day and right now I don't have the skills/experience or the space to try to achieve this, so it is a delight to watch yours.
The photos are amazing

Love all the fall colors and the little man is just darling! I have to say I have become a groupy of yours even though I just found your blog. Reading through it and seeing all the red and white rooms and transferware has me aching to transform my own home. I have red and white transferware and red and white sprinkled here and there, but now that I have seen how you do it I am inspired to transform (can I say that word one more time, LOL!) my home, room by room. Thanks so very much for sharing your amazing talents with us.

Your garden is very attractive to the eyes, especially with those pumpkins in sight. :) Don’t forget to trim the hedges before the start of winter, okay? This is to keep your plants thick and packed together. This is also to make sure your garden is still flourishing when spring starts to arrive. ;)

Nice! A wicked chair and pumpkins on your garden? Isn’t it just the perfect setting for Halloween? ;) The variety of colorful flowers is so lovely. I love it! Hmm, why don’t you try trimming down those vines, especially around the window, a little bit?

Woah, I can’t believe this! Did my eyes deceive me?! This garden looks like it came from fairy tale land! It is as if the plants everywhere were precisely arranged by some designers. I just wish I can have a garden like that here in my apartment. =)

Oh my! Your garden is so lovely. I gape in disbelief as I see it for the first time. I thought this kind of setting only happens in the movies. Everything in there seems to be lively. I don't know how you do that but whatever it is that you are doing to keep your garden beautiful, keep it up. :)
