Late Summer Garden

                                                                 Hello everyone,
Well with summer almost over for another year I thought I would show you what the garden looks like now. It has a faded beauty now but if you don't look too close it still looks pretty good I think.
It is the hydrangeas that are giving me the enjoyment now but the phlox is still adding color.
The virginia creeper will soon turn red and then lose it's leaves for another year.

The virginia creeper on the house has run a bit rampant but still I love it.
We have had a lot of rain in the past few weeks so the grass is lush and green again.

                                                                 Our pond.
A cute little bumble bee in our garden.

And here's looking at you!!!  Oh,Noah you make me laugh.

I am joining My Romantic Home for Show & Tell Friday.

                 Thank you for visiting,

                Carolyn

I can just see the birches and a few other trees starting to turn yellow, hopefully you will get a lovely long stretch of autumn colour. The garden is very beautiful at this time of year.

Hi Carolyn,

I think your garden has a lot to show still. It looks very green and lush. I know it will look pretty when the leaves turn in to autumn colors as well. Cute little bumble bees you have there :)

Have a nice weekend,
Sanna

Snowball head that haven't faded yet? WOW, lucky you. Most of my flowers have wained and now the greens are turning the fall colors here. Cooler temps at night and I tell you for some reason, it feels more like late fall than one of just starting.

But I do love it compared to many of the previous years.

Do you dry your largest snowballs?

warm hugs,
Cotton Peony

My grandparents lived in a small town where wild phlox was everywhere. I still love phlox.

Your garden is gorgeous and your grandchildren are so cute!

Hello Carolyn...

I haven't been able to log on to your blog because my new laptop is blocking it.

I have to wait til my kids get here to tell me how I can rectify this dismal situation.

I so love your dear blog.

I'm on it tonight because I logged on to the old, molasses-in-January computer. Now THIS one lets me on.

Anyway, I have some catching up to do.

Your grandchildren are absolutely gorgeous.

Hope your weekend is good.

By the way, Carolyn, I love strolling through your garden in every single season, including winter! Susan
