Romantic Roses

Happy Weekend!
I just wanted to share a few of my romantic roses with you today.
David Austen Heritage Rose
Polaris or Polar Ice Rose- very hardy but beautiful!

Polaris again.
The Fairy Rose is another favorite rose as it is easy to care for and smothered in blooms until hard frost.

David Austen English Roses- Golden Celebration and Graham Thomas are so pretty with these sweet cherubs.

I am joining Roses in Malevik where you will always find beautiful roses for Show off Saturday.

I hope you all enjoy a lovely weekend!

Lovely!! It won't be long till the roses here are blooming. I can't wait! (Nevermind ... I CAN wait, because there is SO much still to be done in the garden before the flowers arrive.)

Have a great weekend.

Your photographs are so beautiful, I felt I could almost smell the roses. I have the Graham Thomas and the Fairy rose climbs on a trellis in my yard. A new rose garden is now growing in my yard and I can't wait for them to mature and actually fill my arms with their beauty. Thanks for sharing all you share here. Your blog does make my heart sing when I am down.

Carolyn: I can only dream. And that's what your roses do for me. I do have a sign in my garden that expresses those same sweet sentiments as are imposed over that beautiful rose but nothing else there can compare!! Happy Weekend..Judy

Beautiful words and roses Carolyn! I lost several roses this winter. The frost was simply too heavy. I hope your roses survived. They look lovely on the photo's!

Happy weekend,

So glad to have found your blog, I adore your pictures of roses and could while away the hours reading here. I haven't heard of Polaris. It reminds me a little of my favourite cut rose Esperance with its delicately pale petals kissed with a touch of pink. I am really looking forward to the roses beginning to bloom in my garden this year.

Thank you so much for sharing your roses--especially since I recently asked you about them:) What a beautiful post. I think the David Austin rose is my favorite--though they are all gorgeous! Now you inspired me to go work in the garden--

Your photos are beautiful and the roses so very romantic and delicate. The colors absolutely capture my heart and imagination.
My roses are beginning their new spring blooms and it is always such a welcome sight in the garden.
I finally did a new post today after a few weeks of long work hours and a tender knee procedure.
Hope you are doing well.
