Roses and Such!

Hello everyone,
I enjoyed spending some time out tidying up the garden today and it was a joy to be out in the sunshine and warm temperatures as summer winds it way into autumn.

I enjoy seeing the roses putting on a second show.
Fading beauties.
Heritage

I always love to see roses blooming over an old picket fence.
Another Heritage rose.
This beautiful clematis is putting on it's best show now.
The Japanese Anemones are so dainty.
The dalhias are good for late season color.
The mophead hydrangeas are still so pretty.
Endless summer hydrangea in a pretty antique pitcher.

The Annebellles are still so pretty.
I hope you enjoyed a little sample of some of the roses and such that are blooming in the garden now.

So today we bid goodbye to summer for another year and tomorrow we will welcome fall. The weather on the Island is usually lovely in September and October and this year it has been great so far.
This is the weekend for the 70 mile yard sale in eastern Prince Edward Island and I always enjoy checking it out-maybe I will see you there!

I am joining My Romantic Home for Show and Tell Friday!

Thank you for visiting me and welcome to my new followers.

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,
I am sad to see the summer end too, but it is wonderful seeing all your blooms!!
I love the Annebelles Hydrangea, my endless summer has a few dud bushes, I may have to replace, and the Annebelles is my top choice! Thanks for always inspiring me!
Hugs,
Bella

Wow, your flowers are looking so beautiful still! I noticed a hedge of rose bushes in full bloom on Main St. in town with a maple tree a few feet away all red! I'd sure love to be at that yard sale! Have fun. Pamela

Hi Carolyn,

Your roses look beautiful! There are still some in my garden too, but they are not as pretty as yours. Mine all have traces of deceases.

The hydrangeas look beautiful in the antique Pitches!

Have a lovely weekend,

How wonderful your garden is still blossoming. Thanks for sharing your flowers with us. My garden is pretty well done and it's almost time to think about getting it ready for it's winter nap.

It's raining here in Ontario so enjoy your beautiful weather.
