An Impromptu Tea Party

Hello everyone,
It is Pink Saturday at How Sweet the Sound and Beverly has done a feature of my blog this week-how sweet! So for my pink post today I thought I would share a little impromptu tea party that two of my granddaughters enjoyed earlier this week . Jessie and Abby are cousins as well as friends.
They picked out some pretty dresses from my stash and raided  my old cupboard in the sun room for their tea.
Jessie is the hostess today and she is pouring the tea for Abby.

No friend like a .......cousin!
Pretty in pink! I love hats even on little girls.

I added a bouquet for them because every tea party should have a bouquet especially when you can just go out to the garden and pick one!

Well, the girls had great fun at their tea party and are now looking forward to camping with all their cousins on this late summer night.

Thank you so much Beverly for hosting and for featuring my blog this Pink Saturday and for all those kind words as well- I am very touched by them..As you all know there is lots of sweet pinkness at How Sweet the Sound every week for you to enjoy!

Thank you also to my friend Linda from Newfoundland who also did another lovely feature on our garden.Linda and I became friends through blogging and actually came to visit us a few weeks ago and just as we thought- Linda and I were kindred spirits enjoying all the same things! Linda has a lovely blog at Beautiful Ideas. Thank you Linda, for all your kindness and I so enjoyed all your lovely photos of the garden.

Hope you have a happy weekend!

Thank you for visiting me,

Carolyn

Dear Carolyn,

Your granddaughters have changed so much over the year! They have really grown up a lot. The photo's you took of them look beautiful.

I am sorry I did not reply to your email yet, but my father was not feeling too well and was taken into the hospital yesterday. He is feeling better now.

Wish you a happy weekend!

What a lovely blog. How special that you have a 'stash' of dresses for the girls. I think I will have to do that too as I'm not sure I will get 'girly' granddaughters. Looks like everyone had a wonderful time. Thanks for sharing.

Carolyn, you have such beautiful things! Your granddaughters are a delight in their pink dresses - lovely and sweet!

Oh, Canada's weather is perfect for creating such gorgeous flowers!! Yours are enough to make me envious (not in a bad way). I could spend the day just looking at your photos of them. I live in SE Texas and, well, beautiful flowers such as yours don't have a chance. I feel honored to have seen such beauties.

Have a happy pink day,
Marianne

Dear Carolyn,

Those two little damsels are adorable! I love the picture of their joyful hug. It is so important to share moments such as these with our little ones in order to teach them about the beauty of rituals and how dressing up for the occasion shows respect.

Thank you so much for mentioning my giveawy, Carolyn. That was very kind of you.
