Romantic Notions!

Hello Everyone,

It is a beautiful sunny day here and so I got the notion to treat myself to a romantic afternoon tea in the garden.
August is going by quickly so I want to enjoy it while I can.
The old victorian wicker chair and table set the mood for a romantic tea and the white tulle netting adds a little
touch of romance.
I love taking a few minutes to enjoy some inspiration from some of my favorite magazines.

A shortbread cookie and some white dahlias from the garden add to my enjoyment of my tea.
This lacy pillow with the love doves is so feminine and romantic.

Some quiet time in the garden with a beautiful magazine and a cup of tea-life doesn't get much better then this!

Thank you for putting up with me and my romantic notions!

I am joining White Wednesday today at Faded Charm and Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday. I am also joining Feathured Nest Friday at French Country Cottage and My Romantic Home for Show and Tell Friday.
There is also Tea in the Garden Saturday at Bernideen's Tea Time blog so I am joining that party as well.

Take care,

Carolyn

Summer is slipping away and you will notice it before we do down here. Your photos are beautiful and I'm sure it was a relaxing time. I'm waiting for my Victoria to arrive in the mail! Meanwhile my cup of tea is next to my lap top!

Joyfully I put up with you and your romantic notions! I have them, too, you know! You are living the dream.

Actually, I get to wear my vintage lace tea gown to my annual Victorian Tea Party I do to close out the Tale Spin Storytime year at the local mall where I've been the story lady for seven years. It will be a grand finale as I take on the challenge of drama teacher on two charter school campuses this new school year. Just not enough time in the week for everything anymore!

Posting on the event for an upcoming tea Tuesday!

Always enjoy your posts - so much beauty and inspiration - I feed on it!

Joy!
Miss Kathy

I always enjoy your posts. The pictures are beautiful, but I really liked your hat. Sadly, although I've loved hats since childhood, I am clerly NOT a hat person. They look awful on me, so I envy anyone who carries a hat well. You're one of the lucky ones who they work for. Have a great day!

Hi, Carolyn! I'm glad you are enjoying the last days of summer. You are certainly doing it in style! I agree with the apparent sentiment of the cherub...with his little hand to his chest, he appears to be in awe! Love the design on your teacup!!!
